I read an article, which I should have bookmarked, about a businessman returning to the US from Paris (iirc) and who refused any scan or patdown. And he had some time to kill but after about 2 and a half hours they turned him loose, no fines or anything. Anyone else read it?

Since when were disembarking passengers subject to scans or patdowns?

Thank you for the link. I bookmarked it and copied and pasted the article and sent it to several people on my email list. I believe this is as good a place to draw the line in the sand as any.

True, or no, I just heard on local (libertarian host) talk radio that some survey, somewhere, found that 66pc of travelers don't mind the love-pat searches.

Whether they just surveyed pervs, or what, I don't know - but that pc is scary high.

I hope and pray that it's bogus news.

I believe it. I'm basing it on Life Experience only, but that would be my estimate.

But don't forget, I think the number who actually fought our War of Independence against the British was about 5%.

Well, you know that there are people who will never, under any circumstances, admit that the government has gone too far. Apparently some people have been so brainwashed that they actually believe all this horse $#it about how the government is keeping them safe and they don't know that the underwear bomber, the source of this latest aggravation, was helped on to the plane by people in high places. Had to have been, didn't even have a passport! And yet, the sheep keep grazing contentedly and never suspecting that after they are sheared they will become mutton.

Those who pay for the surveys (big libmedia outlets) can pay these pollsters to produce any result desired.

The only time any real check is made on the results is when you have an election. Since the 2010 election is over and we won't see much polling put to the test for almost a year, then they are once again free to lie all they want with these polls.

Surely you recognize their value in swaying the weak-minded sheep produced deliberately by the public skrools.

I never believe these polls unless you have regular opportunities to test the results, like in the last month before an election.

It's just too easy to manipulate questions and answers and tabulate the results and the selection of the subjects, subtle wordings, question order, etc. Surely you know the libs would stoop to this kind of propaganda.
