Steve Johnson blames God for his overtime drop

By Chris Chase

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Steve Johnson(notes) dropped an easy, game-winning touchdown pass against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

After the game, Johnson placed the blame for the flub not on himself nor the pass nor the lights nor the defender nor the pressure of the situation. Nope; he blamed it on the big guy upstairs:

Heysus obviously had bet the Steelers (1 image)

And how much money does this clown make?

"If ever this vast country is brought under a single government, it will be one of the most extensive corruption, indifferent and incapable of a wholesome care over so wide a spread of surface. This will not be borne, and you will have to choose between reform and revolution. If I know the spirit of this country, the one or the other is inevitable." - Thomas Jefferson

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

When both teams pray to god before the start of the game, I guess he and his didn't pray hard enough.

Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war.
If you believe in small government, then you shouldn't be in the White House.

when stuff you want happens, its cuz god likes you.

when you find a shit sandwich in your lunchbox of life, its the devil, because you're bad.

sounds a whole lot like the pagans' placating the gods with sacrifices or bribes.

god is useful only to the extend to which it can be managed within one's willful desire (magick).

damn, that last one is gold, baby, gold.....crowley couldn't have said it better.

Thou hast power only to act not over the result thereof. Act thou therefore without prospect of the result and without succcumbing to inaction. The mind acts like an enemy for those who do not control it...Perform your obligatory duty, because action is indeed better than inaction...Sever the ignorant doubt in your heart with the sword of self-knowledge. Observe your discipline. Arise.

The Bhagavad Gita
