State Dept Warning Students Not to Read, Share WikiLeaks Spokeswoman Says Commenting on WikiLeaks Not a Good Move for Any Citizen by Jason Ditz, December 03, 2010 Email This | Print This | Share This | Antiwar Forum

Columbia University’s Office of Career Service is said to have passed around an email warning students that if they read WikiLeaks or make comments related to the releases it would render them ineligible for any government jobs in the future, based on a warning sent by a former student working at the State Department.

State Department spokeswoman Nicole Thompson insisted the warning wasn’t an official Department directive but added that making public comments or posting links to WikiLeaks content wasn’t “a good move for any US citizen.”

Efforts across the US government to restrict access to the documents are having limited success, although Sen. Joe Lieberman (I – CT) did succeed in getting the WikiLeaks website removed for a few hours following a threatening phone call to Amazon.com.

Beyond the State Department, the US military is also said to be trying to curb access to the content among active duty personnel, with attempts to visit any media website from the military’s open network resulting in a warning message not to read anything related to the WikiLeaks release. The Social Security Administration has also sent an alert to all its employees warning them that reading anything related to the WikiLeaks release could subject them to “federal criminal statutes for unlawful access to or transmission of classified information.”

Even the Library of Congress is getting into the game, with attempts to visit the website at the Library resulting in a warning that the site is “malicious content” and has been blocked.

I find that statement offensive in the extreme. Any REAL American should find it so as well. It is not now, nor has it ever been, in the Constitutional purview of any agent of the Federal Government to suggest or even hint that reading something disapproved of by Der State could or legitimately should be of concern for any citizen. To even make a suggestion such as this is obscene filth of the rankest kind. I find it more offensive than the lowest basest pornography.

Ms. Thompson has just made it a duty of any American to seek out and read what is in the Weakeyleaks material. And of course that may be the real intent of the comment since Weakeyleaks IS a Propaganda PsyOp. However, that this little twit felt it even proper to offer such is an offense which should result in her immediate dismissal and that of any officer in a position of trust who authorized that statement.

We need a Joseph Warren and a Paul Revere.

We need something. We are approaching the edge of a precipice and to fall off it is to plunge into a darkness such as we have never known.

You are quite the optimist today. To me, America has already been driven over the precipice and is plunging into infinite, eternal darkness.

No we are, at this point, in a twilight, and we still have a choice, but the options are becoming more limited and more circumscribed. The Banksters and Psychiatrists running the real show behind the scenes are trying to head off the building explosion. People are waking up, and the TSA scanners, which I do not think they expected, precipitated a bigger wake up event. No, we have not edged out of the darkness yet, but we do still stand a chance.

“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense” ~ Winston Churchill

People are waking up ...

Can you document your perspective? I don't see much other than a wild rumbling here or there, as though dreams are occurring.

My analysis is qualitative rather than quantitative.

However, that the PTB find it necessary to stage a very large scale PsyOp/Propaganda campaign such as WeakeyLeaks is itself a giveaway that the old propaganda is losing its effect. People are beginning to ask questions and entertain ideas that a couple of years ago would have gotten you banned from most forums or at the very least attacked by a pack of howling shills.

The 800 pound gorilla is still the one they are most desperate to divert from: 911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB. That they find it necessary to have their operator Assange reiterate his true faith in the 911 LIES shows that they are even willing to risk exposure of this Disinformation campaign to keep that LIE in place i.e., that it was "19ArabsWhoHateUsCuzWe'reFree" 4 of which were alive and not even in the U.S. on the day of the attack and the remainder of which drank like fish, ate pork, consorted with whores, and hung out in strip clubs, but nevertheless we are supposed to accept that they were fanatical muslims shouting "Allahu Akbar" as they ran the jets they did not know how to fly into buildings after leisurely flying around in the most controlled and monitored airspace on the planet, after commandeering them with boxcutters and Pepper Spray, while not even one out of FOUR planes sent an alert from the cockpit - which takes about 2-3 seconds. It is of course a preposterous story which has been shot so full of holes as to make a Swiss Cheese look like a block of steel.

I am convinced that the only reason you have suspicions about Julian Assange is because of his repeated scorn over your 9/11 conspiracy. Oh well.....
