Julian Assange

He's a guy with a vague history...

Who travels the world without visible means of support...

His parents: Members of an LSD "cult" that abused kids...

Hmmm...

He's not against war...

He hates the 9/11 truth movement...

He has no info about the Bush or Obama White House...or the Federal Reserve Bank...or Goldman Sachs (but he is helping take down Bank of America)...

His "leaks" paint Pakistan as a threat and foreign politicians the CIA doesn't like as jerks...

He believes Osama is alive...and probably in Pakistan...

Everything else he "leaks" is stuff we all already knew...

The mainstream media loves him...

The right wingers love to hate him and are using him as a justification to censor the Net...

If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and smells like a duck...

Another intelligence agency spectacle.

Why don't you post more trivia based on fact as opposed to some off-the-wall BS website?

Twenty-Five Ways To Suppress Truth: The Rules of Disinformation

3. Create rumor mongers. Avoid discussing issues by describing all charges, regardless of venue or evidence, as mere rumors and wild accusations. Other derogatory terms mutually exclusive of truth may work as well. This method which works especially well with a silent press, because the only way the public can learn of the facts are through such 'arguable rumors'. If you can associate the material with the Internet, use this fact to certify it a 'wild rumor' from a 'bunch of kids on the Internet' which can have no basis in fact.

Why do you re-post that same old monotonous BS all the time when anyone criticizes you?

Only when it applies.

If you use disinformation tactics I will point out that they ARE disinformation tactics and in exactly which way.

Don't it just piss ya' off? LOL!

No... it reflects upon your own character to NOT stand on your own legs as you fall back on silly and tired rants.

And which of the above points are you most trying to avoid addressing?

You are simply trying to draw the thread out to obscure the simplicity of the entire WeakeyLinks FRAUD.

The only problem with your redundant post is that it is founded on speculation, innuendo, rumour and a wild-eyed rant. Not one solid fact is presented. In fact, I could easily counter every one of your sentences that you cling onto. But, its a wild goose chase and not worth my time.

And specifically, besides vague general unsupported assertions, what points do you disagree with and based on what FACTS?

You are posting nothing beyond generalities in an attempt to attack not the facts but the chronicler of the facts.

To put it formally your so-called argument amounts to nothing more than Argumentum Ad Hominem.

Here is a FACT that I wager you haven't seen:

Oh and here is ANOTHER ONE:

[Congressional Record: November 17, 2010 (Senate)] [Page S7934-S7946] From the Congressional Record Online via GPO Access [wais.access.gpo.gov] [DOCID:cr17no10-182]

FDA FOOD SAFETY MODERNIZATION ACT--MOTION TO PROCEED--Continued

Mr. BOND.

In addition, I wish to address an obvious problem--leaks. I have already made reference to some of the more disastrous leaks that occurred during my tenure, but unfortunately, these were just the tip of the iceberg. There are simply too many to list. I shudder to think about the sources and methods that have been disclosed, and the lives that will likely be lost, as a result of the obscene amount of classified information compromised by Wikileaks. Of course, to call this a leak case is gross mischaracterization; it is more like a tidal wave. We are blessed with our open society and our many freedoms. However, our ability to protect these freedoms and preserve our national security depends upon our ability to keep our secrets safe. This problem needs a multifaceted solution. We must first deter and neutralize the leakers. There should be significant criminal, civil, and administrative sanctions that can be imposed on leakers. Leakers should face significant jail time, pay heavy fines, forfeit any profits, lose their pensions, and be fired from their jobs. We should also not allow the first amendment to be used as a shield for criminal activity. It should be a crime to knowingly solicit a person to reveal classified information for an unauthorized purpose or to knowingly publish or possess such information. Leaks will not stop until a significant number of leakers have been appropriately punished.

Diversion Buckie. I'm not biting. You did not answer my question. Which points specifically in the above cited list do you specifically disagree with and upon what FACTUAL basis?

Twenty-Five Ways To Suppress Truth: The Rules of Disinformation

4. Use a straw man. Find or create a seeming element of your opponent's argument which you can easily knock down to make yourself look good and the opponent to look bad. Either make up an issue you may safely imply exists based on your interpretation of the opponent/opponent arguments/situation, or select the weakest aspect of the weakest charges. Amplify their significance and destroy them in a way which appears to debunk all the charges, real and fabricated alike, while actually avoiding discussion of the real issues.

17. Change the subject. Usually in connection with one of the other ploys listed here, find a way to side-track the discussion with abrasive or controversial comments in hopes of turning attention to a new, more manageable topic. This works especially well with companions who can 'argue' with you over the new topic and polarize the discussion arena in order to avoid discussing more key issues.
