WikiLeaks is how western politicians mean to shut down the 'Net.

I am not totally buying into that thesis. It may well be that the cables were "salted" with a proponderance of notes detrimental to Iran, but it seems clear to me that the US poobahs are genuinely upset by the exposure.

That Interpol has put Assange on their Most Wanted List nearly proves this - for having sex without a condom, against the law in Sweden. Who would have thought.

And note that to date only several hundred cables have been released, apparently after being vetted by several large US news agencies, out of the 250000 they claim to have.

So till further notice, I am rooting for Assange.

The ones that are talked about are upset of course, but overall it was CIA policy to let the leaks on that site or it would have never happened. US intelligence is still the best in the world despite what they said on 9/11 and about Iraq's WMD.

God is always good!

I am not totally buying into that thesis.

Calling it a thesis is being highly charitable. Telecom companies have spent hundreds of billion of dollar building the Internet infrastructure. E-commerce accounted for 3.704 trillion dollars in sales in 2008. That doesn't even take into consideration the tens of millions of people who habitually use the internet for socialization.

The idea that businesses and individuals are going to allow the government to "shut down the internet" is laughable.

Good points.

Well now regulating the internet in order to choke off political dissent is a completely different thing than "shutting down the net."

I can see them trying it, but I do not think they will be successful unless they "nickel and dime" us to death like they have the WOD and the 4th amendment. The proverbial frog in the pot of water, if you will. I can see that working.

Everyone remember the little blurb about our military creating a Cyber Warfare division? It's on here. Look for the link.

Anything to justify a budget. This whole thing began as an op from the beginning and Bradley Manning was at the center of it.

Notice how much he and Lyndie England look alike?

I am telling everyone, this has been an op from the start, and anyone who believes different is an idiot.

The tell for me was no mentions of Israel. The other tells were nothing concerning troop movements, and or any ops we're conducting in other regions of the world.

There's a lot of high school rate disciplinary reports on diplomats and a lot of dirt on Hillary that should have caused her to resign. It's all part and parcel with the lie that THIS administration needs tighter controls on what gets said on the internet, and how they desperately need power to control the thoughts and words of journalists, and at home bloggers who see through the tapestry of lies coming from The Anti-Christ and his cohorts.

We ARE INDEED talking about The Anti-Christ. Either that or the first false prophet. Either way, the evil that is rearing its ugly head will make what is going on right now seem like an episode of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

Something I said ratted your cage enough to write your little friend and several other empty posts. I'm just wondering why you can't come up with anything more substantial that stupid attacks that do not address your argument.

I have to assume you don't have one and are a fool who believes everything he sees on the TV. Goodbye, fool.

LOL! Run away pussy. Run real fast. Don't bother to address the FACTS I presented. Just run away. While you're running, send that wife of yours over here. She needs a real man to take care of her needs. Something you obviously aren't.

I've seen you mention that before. What is the significance of them looking alike?

I wouldn't believe my government if they told me the sun came up in the east.
