I have to admit I would not want to be filmed while being examined during a medical emergengy in a public place. I thought the videographer was being obtuse and confrontational, while the police officer exercised considerable patience. Sorry, I have to go with the establishment on this one.

Nothing to see here.

The cop is wrong in that if the Purdue Medical Team wished to do private work they should have chosen a private location to do their work. If their work was a public event in a public facility ... then the public has a right to record it.

C'mon, they want to see or feel your balls (if you have any) just to ride in an airplane.

The "emergency" was fictitious and being conducted in a public facility. The Exponent "press agent" or ANYONE ELSE has a right to record public events or public officials in public areas.

A cop doesn't have any authority to usurp the rights of people "because he says so" ... and in court, unless he can demonstrate an exigent or emergency condition "REALLY" existed the court will find in favor of the defendant and against the cop.

In a reverse condition the cop would ask "what have you got to hide" even when you have the right to require them to get a warrant. Whenever I'm asked if I mind if a cop search my car or home ... I reply "if you secure a warrant based upon probable cause, absolutley not". Then, the cops get indignant (forgetting they work for us) and say "if I put you under arrest I don't need a warrant" ... then litigation becomes necessary "BECAUSE THE COPS DON'T WANT TO FOLLOW THE FREAKING LAW" !

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Revere God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man".
