I could sit for hours and watch a storm like that. So long as I didnt see anything dropping from that wall cloud. And even then I'd probably stay and watch it if it was safe to do so.

There is a beauty and a power to these storms. Those are great pics!

I look at it somewhat less metaphysically, or at least differently. I simply enjoy the magnificent fury of a big storm. It has its own impersonal beauty, and it is quite bracing to stand and watch one sweep by. Although I have no burning desire to be in the path of a funnel cloud. The best place to watch one is from a secure window with a snifter of good Cognac and a fine Cigar.
