I could sit for hours and watch a storm like that. So long as I didnt see anything dropping from that wall cloud. And even then I'd probably stay and watch it if it was safe to do so.

There is a beauty and a power to these storms. Those are great pics!

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

We need that, while you will disagree, it's a reflection of God.

I still believe there is a God. But the difference is, it's not the kike god. If someone called me a deist I wouldn't argue with them.

There is a definite downside though. I went thru Greensburg KS several times after that F5 hit. It kicked the shit out of that town. It's a wonder that anyone survived it.

Then there was hurricane Ike that I had to haul ass to dodge it. I got caught in the outer bands in LA though and it was interesting. I still am thankful and surprised that I found a place to park.

About the only inclement weather I hate is snow and ice, and fog. Driving sucks when going thru that crap.

As to God, I think that you may be confusing the God of the Bible, the actual Living God, with the one that modern Americanized "christians" in particular, have coopted to craft their "Israel is the centerpiece of the universe" stance on.

I'm not confused. I will clarify. I don't mind discussing it, because we all go where we're led. Some choose different paths.

I looked hard thru the OT. "god" is just looking for a reason to smite people; men, women, children, and animals. Any reason to smite them will do, no matter how trivial. It's really quite bloody, if it is to be believed. I don't believe it anymore.

Try checking out the link in my sigline. He goes through why I am the way that I am now.

I also asked myself the question "If we are being created in "Gods" image, then why does that "God" try so hard and feel so threatened by us that "he" holds us back from being like "him". I refer to the garden of "Eden" and the tower of "Babel", and other instances.

I question the whole thing, totally apart from what the kikes are doing now. Someone saying "just have faith" to me doesn't cut it.

Now just because I said I dont mind discussing it with you or anyone else here doesn't mean that I will do that for someone that is stupid enough to try and question me on being a xtian, on the street or knocking on my door. If anyone tries that, may their "god" help them. I'm not looking for converts and I have no patience for those looking to convert me back to what I was.

But what makes you think he "feels threatened" by us?

Because, if the bible is to be believed, when we try to advance we get knocked back. The Eden and Babel stories illustrate this.

There is more recent "church" history that shows the same attitude.

Yet we prevent our children from doing certain things, or should, that we know to be morally and developmentally harmful.

Do you murder them then throw their spirits into a "lake of fire" to be burned for "eternity" if your kids disobey you? Do you send plagues, vipers, swallow them up in the earth and burying them alive? Perhaps you dash their heads against rocks, or stone them? Cannibalism? Dung eating? All of those things, and much more, are in the bible and attributed to the kike "god".

Those are all rhetorical questions, of course. But the unmistakable implication is, if you don't do those things to your kids when they disobey you, then you are more merciful and loving than "god" is.

Again, I'm not looking for any converts here. I'm just answering questions. If you think differently, then that's fine by me and is entirely your business.

I look at it somewhat less metaphysically, or at least differently. I simply enjoy the magnificent fury of a big storm. It has its own impersonal beauty, and it is quite bracing to stand and watch one sweep by. Although I have no burning desire to be in the path of a funnel cloud. The best place to watch one is from a secure window with a snifter of good Cognac and a fine Cigar.
