The approach to something as basic as an "Entrenching Tool" is almost Scary. The Imagination used in that simple tool puts our "procurement programs" to shame.
The Chinese are supposed to have a Stifling Bureaucracy in all matters, but something like this puts the Lie to that propaganda.

This is a direct copy of the German WW One trench shovel used by Stormtrooper units deployed in the Michael Offensive. Using new tactics, weapons and surprise Germany almost won the war in 1918. The world would be a much better place if they had won, IMHO!
