By Andy Choi The Dalu Rebot Restaurant, in Jinan, northern China's Shandong Province, has six robot waitresses and can cater for up to 100 diners.

The seating arrangement comprises 21 tables that are set in circles and the robots follow a fixed route to serve diners in rotation. After serving, the robots return to the kitchen to refill their carts for the next round.

Restaurant spokeswoman Wang Xianwei said that all of the waiting on tables was done by robots. However, there are people employed to welcome customers and explain to them how the restaurant works.

And the food, mainly the Chinese version of fondue, is prepared by humans in the kitchen.

"Next, we'll develop robots which can climb stairs and help with kitchen chores like washing the dishes, and our waitresses will become more sophisticated so they can go direct to a customer's table and even refill diners' drinks" said spokesman Zhang Yongpei.

The restaurant was developed by the Shandong Dalu Science and Technology Company which plans to further develop the concept, by rolling out more ‘robo-servers’ for the eatery, to accommodate 100 diners at the same time.

China is very prosperous. I have an idea, maybe we could prosper by trading with china. Today we import MORE THAN 4 TIMES from china what we export to china. In other words, we're not trading with them. They send us goods, we literally do borrow money to be able to buy them. Trade means they send us $100 of goods and we send them $100 of goods to pay for them.

Surely china is prosperous enough to find goods & services in our economy that it wants to buy. If it fails to do this, then we should not buy their goods. This borrowing of money to pay for consumption is ruinous to us. We should produce and trade instead.

Production and trade is working out well for china. Their citizens benefit from a rising tide lifting all boats. Maybe we should try it too.

I once listened to Clinton's trade negotiator explain the chinese trade. She described it as foreign aid and that maybe by 2050 China may be wealthy enough for us to export to them. She described it as a long-term effort that we would benefit from. After all, our currency is fixed artificially expensive to theirs' and thus by trading with them we are giving them foreign aid. We're arranging things so that our producers cannot prosper due to the expensive currency and theirs can prosper easily.

What if a big tax were imposed on every good produced in New York state? so that whenever they sold any good produced in their state to the outside there was an extra 30% added to the price? Would this cause prosperity for New York? This is exactly how our currency fix is with china. We make all of our goods artificially expensive in trade with them and to the world.

the dollar does not float to the yuan. it is fixed. It is fixed in a manner so that we don't trade, we simply buy from them. If it floated, then we could have free trade.

Obama is just like Bush, his job is to serve the financial oligarchs who are so heavily invested in China.
