Gasoline jumped another 10 cents a gallon today to $3.19.9 a gallon. Merry Christmas you lousy greedy bastards.

it's all supply and demand

Golly. Only so much oil being pumped per day. Fedzilla bans drilling everywhere. No new large oil discoveries being declared that can be brought online quickly. Fedzilla declares any large deposit of anything a "national landmark" and puts it off limits. China and India doubling their oil consumption every couple of years. Most oil deposits are owned by "national" oil companies like Saudi Aramco or PEMEX, etc.

Oh, and we are printing money like crazy thus devaluing it.

What could go wrong with this situation?
