Merry Christmas you lousy greedy bastards.

You will find most people here are confirmed, "supply and demand" capitalists.

I lost my virginity on that economic program long years ago.

Speculators and manipulators at work.

Gas consumption is down, price is up.

Supply and demand at work, the democratic way. We got it, you gonna pay for it, one market, no competition .

Amazing, five gas stations, five different companies, their prices ALL go up the same day. Same price, one would almost think there was collusion, but thats not possible, is it????

That's right, when profits are down or when they get a new set of super-secret marching orders from their bosses, those whose shoes they kiss, then all of a sudden demand has risen and supply dwindled don't-cha-know. Pills and Hammity will tell us too.

Pills and Vannity are shills for the power elite, and well paid quislings at that. Of course the one consoling thought is that scum like that are never happy, not in the way a man with a clean conscience is.

Manipulating the oil prices higher serves their interest in multiple ways.

If China is forced to use more of their fiat currency reserves on imported oil, they can't spend it on, and take physical possession of as much silver or gold. Thus stabilizing JPM's naked short positions on the Comex.

it's all supply and demand

Golly. Only so much oil being pumped per day. Fedzilla bans drilling everywhere. No new large oil discoveries being declared that can be brought online quickly. Fedzilla declares any large deposit of anything a "national landmark" and puts it off limits. China and India doubling their oil consumption every couple of years. Most oil deposits are owned by "national" oil companies like Saudi Aramco or PEMEX, etc.

Oh, and we are printing money like crazy thus devaluing it.

What could go wrong with this situation?

A people unwilling to use force, once diplomatic efforts have been exhausted, in order to preserve or obtain their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule over them.

Yeah, it's collusion. They are all watching the global spot price of crude oil - up $1.03 to $91.41 a barrel.

And with the US dollar being essentially worthless and about to lose it's reserve currency status, the sellers of crude oil don't want dollars. They have billions of dollars they want to trade for something of value - and the supplies of gold and silver are dwindling.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of Globalists who want to see Americans paying higher fuel prices and want to see America reduced to third world status.

You are definitely right! There isn't anybody we like out there as yet. I doubt there will be either. The arrogant PTB with the help of the dumbed down masses saddled us with a non citizen as president. They know they are in control. The question is, is there someone out there who isn't in their pocket?

The PTB could never have gotten to where they are at, had they not taken over the entire media. When there is a coup in any given country, the first and most important thing is to take control of the media. Normally this occurs in a bloody fight. Our media has been taken over without a shot fired, or at least one fired openly. Who ever controls the media, controls everything. Taking it back would require a bloodbath and the nasses won't spill their blood except fighting in one of their undeclared illegal wars.

We definitely are screwed!

Did I hear you say something about global warming? Cap and trade?

Peripherally - this is mainly about beggaring the U.S. Population and restricting freedom of movement.

ratcat hit it when she said they want to reduce us to turd whirled status. The commoners in the U.S. are too "uppity" - they actually think they have rights as free individuals. Thus by beggaring the U.S. population they reduce us to the level of subsistence, dumb down the skools so people are unaware of what has been stolen, and gradually create their totalitarian ant hive society. Of course from their view there are still too many ants so that has to be taken care of too, and they are at work on that in variety of different ways - GMOs, created disasters, poison in our food and water, vaccines, etc., ....

No, it is market manipulation driving prices up, and it has to do with artificially restricting the supply.

Yes. And just in case it's not expensive enough - governments throw a load of tax on top!

LOL. I must remember that one! :)

Solutions for Ireland. Say NO to the IMF/World bank. Default on our debt. Print our own debt free currency. Nationalise the trillion euros worth of gas and oil off our west coast. Take back our fishing (200 billion worth). Get our farmers growing again. Done deal if our politicians had the backbone. ~ Jim Corr

Amazing, five gas stations, five different companies, their prices ALL go up the same day. Same price, one would almost think there was collusion, but thats not possible, is it????

I'm in a different part of the world, and I still see the exact same thing! So, yes, a cartel in operation.

Ireland has an extra-judicial authority named the "Competition Authority" - I recall a number of years ago where it fined a filling station - wait for it - for selling petrol way cheaper than the other fillings stations in a certain town. It was being "anti-competitive" apparently for competing...

The supply is the same, this isn't manipulation, this is gas stations doing what they always do on a holiday by raising prices.

God is always good!
