Some people had dance lessons, and some even voice lessons. They were fortunate. I had both from same teacher, sit down and shut up.

Tough women come from New York, sweet women from Texas, prissy women from Southern California, but we NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WOMEN have fire & ice in our blood. We can ride 4-wheelers, be a princess, throw a left hook, pack heat, hunt with the men, bake a cake, love with passion, and if we have an opinion, you know you're going to hear it!! Those are OK, but where's the pole? ;)

I did it the cheap way. The local head of the Arthur Murray Studio taught a class at the local community college so I was able to take Ballroom Dancing, including Swing, for the price of a 1 credit hour P.E. Elective. So, I got a top notch instructor for K-Mart prices.
