MEADVILLE —

When I was sixteen, my Dad owned a convertible, and he had to travel on business every month. The deal was this: if I would drive him to and from the airport, I could use the convertible while he was away. So I’d drive him to Erie International, and I’d carry his briefcase and garment bag on the plane, then stand on the tarmac until the jet departed from the gate. And no plane from Erie was ever hijacked anywhere.

Today, I wouldn’t be permitted within three hundred yards of the plane.

Somewhere in time, our culture of courage mutated into a culture of cowardice.

Who changed the rules?

Somewhere in time, our culture of courage mutated into a culture of cowardice.

The short answer is, there is NO PROFIT in courage.

Somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its idiot.

There is vast riches beyond imagination if you value freedom and liberty.

Nah, Jim, it's not cowardice - it's control of us minnows through fear, conditioning, and propaganda....

You mean those community centers where the kids huff and puff and little grils get raped and fights occur? Or where gangs are formed? Home schooled children do much better even without the community centers. Any more, those community centers are definitely places to stay away from. Besides most of them are run by dykes and fags; especially ones that churches sponsor.

If that isn't a definition of cowardice, may I suggest you look up fear in your Funk & Wagnalls.

Thanks for your comment. I inferred that the author's use of "cowardice" was referring to the airport/government being afraid (he used "cowardice") of allowing anyone"within 300 yards of the tarmac", and my comment rebutted that view by saying the government is not showing cowardice by that edict, but is showing the desire to control our population.

You mean those community centers where

No. I mean real Community Centers -- the kind that parents and grandparents and the community oriented can run and chaperone, hire guards to help too if they want.

Ok, so we have one vote in favor of Revitalizing Community Centers for extra-curricular activities and one vote against. The poll is still open.
