SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), an independent non-commercial organization, released a sensational statement.
Three giant spaceships are heading towards Earth. The largest one of them is 240 kilometers wide. Two others are smaller. At present, the objects are beyond the orbit of Pluto.
The spaceships were detected by HAARP search system. The system, based in Alaska, was designed to study the phenomenon of northern lights. According to SETI researchers, the objects are nothing but extraterrestrial spaceships. They will be visible in optical telescopes as soon as they reach Mars's orbit. The US government has been reportedly informed about the event. The ships will reach Earth in December 2012.

During the Soviet days it must have been the wet dream of every comrade editor to run the Russian language equivalent of the Enquirer. Now they've got their wish.

Pravda takes all the fruitcake stories and runs with them. HAARP is a giant transmitter. I am sure that they can receive signals up there, but that facility is not a radio telescope with resolving power to reach out beyond the solar system.

There is a steady drumbeat in the mainstream everywhere to keep folks around the globe stirred up on this topic. I wonder why that is?

I would need to see a lot more than the kind of garish journalistic speculation that I've been exposed to on the web to be convinced of such a phenomenon. And, although I'm not convinced either about the rather strong claim of the Project Bluebeam advocates, I've seen in the facts of 9/11 a determination to use large scale events to bend the mass psyche to the will of powerful interests.

These people would be glad to use such an event to wipe every other faith (as valuable as they have been found in the manipulation of the masses of people) off the surface of the globe.

They would be pleased as punch to replace it with a new reality that they could employ to ensnare EVERYONE. An "extraterrestrial" event would fit that bill. When I see reporting of spectacular events and sightings shaded to represent extra-human intelligence, especially when offered up in the mainstream press, I read such stuff with extreme prejudice.

Beware. Be wary.
