It is thus impossible to overstate the importance of the Wikileaks documentation of these lies to the American people. When a journalist reports a U.S. government misdeed, government officials automatically deny it and many Americans are unsure whom to believe.

It seems almost impossible to me that Americans don't know what is going on. Have we no eyes to see with, no ears to hear with, no mouths to speak with?

Haven't there been enough documented cases of corruption and lies in our history to learn from?

Why do we persist in believing in America the Good when all the evidence points to the opposite.

The callous and careerist politicians and journalists who daily ignore U.S. mass murder, while calling for Assange's arrest or execution, shame themselves, their children, and their profession by their indifference to non-American human suffering and obsequious toadying to illegitimate Executive power.
