Mexican Government to Join Law Suit Against Arizona, Obama AG Holder to File Next Week

Bosom Buddies … The Obama Administration and the Mexican government attacking Arizona over their Immigration law. Yet one more reason why Gov. Jan Brewer and Arizona did the right thing in passing a new immigration law.

It has been reported by ABC News that Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder will sue the state of Arizona next week over their new immigration law signed by Gov. Jan Brewer. Holder will claim it is the federal governments responsibility to set immigration law, even though Obama refuses to enforce the present one that exists. So let us understand this … the United States government is suing a state for passing a law that emphasizes federal immigration law that already exists, but the federal government refuses to uphold and the Mexican government who does nothing to stop illegals and drug traffickers to enter the US is backing the inaction of the federal government. NICE! How screwed up is our border security and why is the federal government doing nothing to protect America? For Obama, its all about Amnesty.

Obama administration sources tell ABC News that Attorney General Eric Holder is expected to file a lawsuit against the state of Arizona for its immigration law, likely next week.

The suit has been expected for some time now. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told a South American television interviewer that the president had told the Justice Department to file the suit on the basis that it’s the constitutional responsibility of the federal government — not states — to set immigration policy.

However, it would appear that the Obama Administration has a friend that will also sue Arizona as well. Yes that is correct, as per The Weekly Standard, Mexico is going to sue the state of Arizona as well joining the federal law suit. Isn’t that special.

Earlier today, ABC reported that Attorney General Eric Holder will likely file his lawsuit against Arizona over its immigration law next week. Now, the AP reports: “Lawyers for Mexico on Tuesday submitted a legal brief in support of one of five lawsuits challenging the law. The law will take effect June 29 unless implementation is blocked by a court.”

Are you serious, a foreign country is going to tell the United States of America what they can and cannot do on their own soil to protect its borders, provide security to its citizens and stop the trafficking of humans and drugs? UNREAL. What is more unbelievable is that the Obama White House is on the side of the Mexican government.

The law generally requires police investigating another incident or crime to ask people about their immigration status if there’s a “reasonable suspicion” they’re in the country illegally. It also makes being in Arizona illegally a misdemeanor, and it prohibits seeking day-labor work along the state’s streets.

Citing “grave concerns,” Mexico said its interest in having predictable, consistent relations with the United States shouldn’t be frustrated by one U.S. state.

Mexico also said it has a legitimate interest in defending its citizens’ rights and that the law would lead to racial profiling, hinder trade and tourism, and strain the countries’ work on combatting drug trafficking and related violence.

“Mexican citizens will be afraid to visit Arizona for work or pleasure out of concern that they will be subject to unlawful police scrutiny and detention,” the brief said.

It will be to a U.S. District Court judge to decide whether to accept the brief along with similar ones submitted by various U.S. organizations

Mexico claims that a state sponsored immigration law will lead to Mexicans being subject to unlawful police scrutiny and detention. What, excuse me my dear friends South of the border, but you must be getting this confused with your own state of affairs in Mexico. You are describing what takes place in Mexico, not the US.

“Each day, approximately 65,000 Mexicans are admitted into Arizona; and each day they spend an average of $7.35 million in its stores, restaurants, and other businesses,” says a friend-of-court brief filed by Mexico. But if the new law takes effect, “Mexican citizens will be afraid to visit Arizona for work or pleasure out of concern that they will be subject to unlawful police scrutiny and detention,” the brief says.

The law creates “an imminent threat of state-sanctioned bias or discrimination, resulting not only in individual injury but also in broader social and economic harms to its citizens.”

Maybe the Mexicans would like to check out their owm immigration policies before they decide to interfere with another sovereign nation.

BLITZER: So in other words, if somebody sneaks in from Nicaragua or some other country in Central America, through the southern border of Mexico, they wind up in Mexico, they can go get a job…
CALDERON: No, no.
BLITZER: They can work.
CALDERON: If — if somebody do that without permission, we send back — we send back them.

This will assuredly come as welcome news to all those out-of-work Americans trying to sneak into Mexico for jobs. Unfortunately, language barrier aside, Calderon got it all wrong. Upon entering Mexico, immigrants must prove who they are, that they are mentally fit, and that they can contribute to Mexican society. If they do that, they sign their papers, are given a number, and are allowed to entry into the country. Failure to play by these rules carries a stiff penalty

* An illegal immigrant who sneaks into the country, or fails to file his papers, will face fines, jail, deportation, or a combination of the three.
* An illegal immigrant who forges his documents, or falsifies them by lying when he fills them out, will face fines, jail, deportation, or a combination of the three.
* An illegal immigrant who takes a job faces fines, up to six years in prison, and deportation.
* All immigrants must provide proof of their legal status if the authorities demand it. Failure to do so will result, once more, in fines, jail, deportation, or a combination of the three.

Poster Comment:

Imagine the absurdity of Mexico siding with the Federal Gov. against a State fighting ILLEGAL Immigration.

This is definitely a States' Rights issue, and when your own government, a government which you pay billions of dollars in taxes to, turns on its citizens, it's time to secede.
