What the hell are you talking about, Eric? 4-4-2 meant 4-barrel, 4-speed, and dual exhaust. Until '66, when it meant 400c.i., 4-barrel, and still the dual exhausts. :)

Fair enough, I just feel compelled to interject factual stuff as it occurs to me.
442 - Four barrel carb, four speed tranny, dual exhaust.
It may have been a 455.
