Yes, those were the days. Guys knew how to fix those cars. Parts were available at the local car wreckers yard. They could keep an old jalopy going for years, until the nasty safety standards legislation took them off the road and built in obsolescence became the name of the game.

I recall how shocked I was when I first learned the meaning of "planned obsolescence" Talk about naive :)

The pimp mobile. BTW the house in the background is where the 300# naked guy lives.

Is that outta your house?

Which 300 lb. naked guy?

The guy that lives across the street has mental issues. He likes to come out of the house either naked or in stretchy shorts which he contrives to lose. Either way he ends up standing out by the sidewalk completely naked. He weighs a good 300#. It is just wrong in soooo many ways.

No doubt, but don't you have any indecency laws there?

Oh the cops have been out a few times but as I said he has mental issues and since he is not a danger to anyone or himself their is nothing they can do.

Find out the laws and insist that they do their jobs. I guarantee you that if a man were to take a piss in an alley somewhere they'd threaten sexual indecency.

He's harmless. His nudity doesn't bother me as much as the barking rat next door or the methhead on the other side of me.

I'll take my area with the snow and cold and all.

I've been out that way, no thanks. California has its faults but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Actually, you couldn't pay me enough to live in the mid or southern part of California today.

Oh me either. I'm about as far south as I'll get. With the exception of 3.5 years in Santa Barbara, I've always lived in the north state.

Indeed. Well maybe the fat guy will suffer from angina and die. If you see cranes pulling in, ...

I'd like to get rid of the meth head first and a little rat poison over fence will take care of the barking.

Make sure it's FDA approved rat poison first.

LOL that's what I should be taking. Doctor has me taking aspirin which is causing me to lose my hearing. Sigh. I guess that's better than blood clots.

oh yes. I always have myself diagnosed before I go in.

Can you cut back on the aspirin?

sadly no. One week without taking it and I had blood clots again. I've had them twice this year. My ears were already ringing from taking generic excedrine for migraines.
