http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepsodent

Pepsodent was a very popular brand before the mid '50s, but its makers were slow to add fluoride to its formula to counter the rise of other highly promoted brands such as Crest and Gleem toothpaste by Procter & Gamble, and Colgate's eponymous product; sales of Pepsodent plummeted.

Today Pepsodent is a “value brand” marketed primarily in discount stores and retails for roughly half the price of similarly-sized tubes of Crest or of Colgate.

Pepsodent is still sold as a Unilever property in all markets except the United States and Canada.

My Little Margie

Didn't watch that show. Nine of us in the family and only one black & white tv. We had to watch whatever the rest of the family wanted to see. I spent way more time outdoors, playing football, hunting, sledding, basketball and of course shoveling snow, weeding and hoeing in the garden and pushing that old reel mower cutting the grass, than watching tv.

I might have missed one or two but I didn't actually write it down. Most of them I got with out seeing what the choices were. I did miss the David Brinkly one but we didn't watch him. I did know where it came from I just didn't know the answer. too funny. I was born in 63 so sometimes I'm considered a boomer and sometimes not, depends on who is doing the list. I do not consider myself one.

Tough women come from New York, sweet women from Texas, prissy women from Southern California, but we NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WOMEN have fire & ice in our blood. We can ride 4-wheelers, be a princess, throw a left hook, pack heat, hunt with the men, bake a cake, love with passion, and if we have an opinion, you know you're going to hear it!!

I think it came on in the evening? There was no daytime TV (maybe a Soap?). Most of the people on my block didn't have TVs, so they'd drop by when a show was on. Are u saying u didn't watch The Children's Hour on Saturday morning?
