Not in tight spaces they don't.

Yesterday I had 3 whoppers and a buck double, and for dessert I had HagenDas chocolate ice-cream with chocolate chips plus a piece of cake.

And believe it or not, I am not overweight.

The reason you aren't overweight is you eat so damned much food and garbage you lose weight carrying it around. Better watch out for ticker problems and plugged arteries down the road.

what is an e tablet? a tiny computer?

Yes, I really don't know much about them, but we're going to Mexico for a month, maybe, in March and we wanted to have something to use there for Spanish lessons and taking photos and the like.

I thought some here may have an informed opinion on these devices, but ya never know which way the thread will blow.

My mom was from New Mexico - I grew up on the shit. What most people consider hot I consider medium to mild. I find I have gone the opposite and toned down the spices a bit.

For a nice side try grilled Jalapenos. Cut them in half, seed them, and then coat them in Olive Oil and grill over Mesquite until you see them turning dark brown to black in places. Yum!

The 6oz package says from the Makers of Martha White, Gladiola, Mexican Style Cornbread Mix, made with Jalapeno Peppers.

First time to notice the JP claim, but they're not enough for my taste.

Also, check out mezzetta.com/jalapenopepper/ tamed jalepenos - I've not found them locally, but my brother says they are wonderful.

I so wish we were.

No we are flying to Puerto Vallatra, a great International City, spending a few weeks there entertaining some family and guests, then onto our real Mex Gem, Melaque, for the next few weeks. This is the place where we hope to spend winters in the near future.

Driving through Mex is just so much fun. Utter blast till some one gets an eye put out.

Costa Allerga is safer than where most of us post from, I am pretty sure.

And a heck of alot nicer, at least in the winter months.

I'm guessing a competitor for the iPad.

Thanks Pal!

Based on Android OS, similar to the NOOK by Barnes & Noble, I think I have bot an e reader and a functional computer in a device that is about the size of a larger magazine, and has a wild touch screen.

Looked at the NOOK a few days ago, and I "think" I got a lot more fore less, the NOOK retails for $150 and "I think" has much more limited capabilities than an Android tablet.

And I do not even have the thing in my hand yet - maybe it will be broke when I get it, but I was not too aware of this explosion of cheap really Hi Tech super friendly computational power in the market right now.

Heads Up 4UM. These tablets are going to change things. How I do not know.

The cost of basic computing power is going down again and because of their ease of use and portability they will eclipse most notebook computers. Apple has been trying to prevent that by making the iPad less capable than it could be, for example no USB port, and not have it cut into their notebook computer sales, but I think the competition is going to force their hand.

If so, from what I can see, is Android wins over Kindle.

Hands down from what I have heard. I suspect Apple is going to be forced into either dropping the price on the iPad, adding more functionality, or both. And they will have to enable data exchange between the iPad and other Macs, along with porting over OS X to the iPad.

Also because there will be competitors that will offer most of the functionality of a PC because the Pad type computer is their main product Apple will have no choice or they will again lose market share because of their high prices.

Competition is good for the consumer.

Just another thought. One way or another the introduction of the pad type computer is going to revolutionize things again. If you thought computers were ubiquitous before this is going to make them as common as phones. And personally I like the idea. Just plug in a keyboard and you have a mobile productivity station that is another order smaller than a notebook computer.
