Title: Hostile and Bitter Towards Men

I know several women who are hostile and bitter towards men and blame their problems on them. In each case they are college-educated women who make a substantial salary.

What they wanted out of life was to find a man with a similar education and salary who would accept their career and also wanted children. None of them got what they wanted.

I’ve always been mystified why women do not understand they cannot have a career and children at the same time. If she works full-time and he works full-time, who is going to raise the children?

I’ve been told companies are supposed to allow women time off, a year or so, to take care of the children. What this means is that the people left at work are supposed to involuntarily support these woman by doing her work for her when she’s gone, and also through lower wages since she’s getting unpaid leave. When I’ve asked these women about this none of it has occurred to them.

Then there is the fact that Affirmative Action means “white men need not apply.” I’ve know more than one woman – several in fact – who were promoted above her level of competence because of AA. Just as bad, and probably worse, they were promoted at the expense of men (contrary to the myth, AA overwhelmingly benefits white women, not black men or any other “minority”).

I’ve seen these women look around and wonder where men are who have a good salary. They can’t seem to find them, and when it’s explained to them white men are no longer hired for high-paying jobs (unless no one else is available) they don’t want to believe it.

Men of course are still available to be coal miners, steel workers, construction workers, garbage men, etc. but these women are simply outraged at the idea of “marrying down.” I’ve also known men who opened their own business (become entrepreneurs) but in many cases the work is hot and sweaty and blue collar and the women are outraged about that, too. Why can’t he have a comfy safe indoor high-paying job like me?!?

Most men who work in positions where women are favored over them in promotions will tell you the women hold meetings and talk and think they are working. The men are doing the vast majority of the work and carrying the women. The women never believe it. I’ve seen this myself.

If a couple gets married and the woman does not want to work and instead wants to stay home and raise the children, the man goes from supporting one person (himself) to three. This was possible in the past when the U.S. was mostly free-market but today because of our managed economy it verges on impossible.

Quite a few men today don’t particularly want to get married and have children anymore because of the crushing economic burden. Women call this “fear of commitment.” It is of course completely the man’s fault, because of a lack of a mirror for these women to look in.

What is happening today (and has been happening for quite a while) is unstable and will collapse. What it will be replaced with I don’t know. But it won’t last.

Turtle has committed a classic error of reasoning that we are today taught to eschew at all our institutes of higher learning and research which is the appeal to common sense.

What do you think the explosion in daycare centers and private schools in this country is all about? Parents pay other people to care for their kids while they are at work.

Yet of course these people in the daycare centers and private schools must be poorly-paid, otherwise those who pay scream.

Giving children to be raised by schools and daycare centers is one of the basic tenets of Communism.

"If ever this vast country is brought under a single government, it will be one of the most extensive corruption, indifferent and incapable of a wholesome care over so wide a spread of surface. This will not be borne, and you will have to choose between reform and revolution. If I know the spirit of this country, the one or the other is inevitable." - Thomas Jefferson

Giving children to be raised by schools and daycare centers may be one of the tenets of communism, but it's also both economically efficient and economically necessary in an era when one third of all income must be handed over to the government in one form or another.

Way too many of the kids don't turn out right. I've seen that in my relatives who were forced into preschool and daycare.

both economically efficient and economically necessary in an era when one third of all income must be handed over to the government in one form or another.

One third? In your dreams. That would be a tax decrease. By the time you total in all of the hidden taxes the minimum number Milton Friedman came up with close to 20 years ago was 42% - and that was if you were in a lower income bracket and got most or all of your income tax refunded. A simple loaf of bread has about 32 taxes applied at different levels of government before it hits the shelf. The number of taxes varies by locale and the amount is relatively small because it is spread out among a lot of loaves of bread, but it is nevertheless there. Look at each of your utility bills. There is a minimum of 3 listed taxes on each one and those are just the ones charged directly to you. The others absorbed and paid by the utility company are in the "delivery charge", the mark up on the commodity i.e., gas, electricity, etc., .... And this is before you get to gas tax, various excise taxes, sales tax, and on and on.

Taxachusetts, often taken and displayed as an example of liberal tax policy run amok, is not the highest tax state in the country. Other states have simply gotten better at hiding the additional taxes in the price of the goods and services you buy. Oregon, where I live, is one of the 5 highest tax states in the country and the state government wonders why businesses won't locate here.

No, the tax burden on the true middle class, which is really now (after inflation) somewhere around 250K to about 550K per year is about 55%.

For comparison under Feudalism in the Middle Ages even the most rapacious Manorial Lords only took 1/3 of their Serf's output.

I could likely go for a few hours on just the social implications of the high tax regime we currently are buried under, but the subject at hand is one of them. The cost of having and rearing children has, except for subsidized Welfare Recipients, been made a back breaking burden for most Americans.

Combined with inflated cost of housing it is unsustainable and the burden of tax slavery, along with the Fed, is destroying the economic well being of the country and is enslaving all to perpetual tax slavery as Serfs of the government.

"“Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings - that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.” ~ Gautama Siddhartha — The Buddha

This is baloney. Folks who actually pencil it out admit they would save money if mom or dad just stayed home with the kid/kids. Generally, people don't want to do that because they would have to simplify their lives and money bought goodies for that time raising their own kids. So, they opt to have somebody else do the raising and then justify it by claiming if was "economically efficient and economically necessary".

BTW, one parent quits working for somebody else to raise the kiddes and the tax bracket falls, a savings of about $10K annually.

You have to be super vigilant

There was a case a few years ago where a female daycare worker got mad at a two- year-old boy and smashed him on the floor and fractured his skull. He got his favorite blanket, crawled into a chair and died.

You can be supervigilant all you want and you'll never be able to predict these things.

It has gotten to the point that I think most young men should avoid marriage altogether. And get a vasectomy unless they really really want kids.
