sorry if this is a dumb question, but someone told me that the news report of Laughner's first court appearance had video of him with a full head of hair. They also said that the initial news reports of the crime the day it happened supposedly had witnesses describe a man with hair. yet the mug shot has a psychotic looking bald guy. Has anyone see a court photo of laughner from either of his 2 court appearances? can you post the photo, or a video link? is the mugshot of laughner he same person in the yourube videos? thanks for any help.

That's just a dusting of hair, which would be expected a week or so after having a bald head. It requires daily shaving to keep a bald head bald.

When he committed the crime he had a hood on his head, so nobody could see his hair. However, his mug shot is bald and that was taken right after he went into custody. So, my verdict is BALD.

There are several earlier photos of Loughner with hair, from high school to a book event he attended to photos with old girlfriends.

I'd say pretty high.......I'll be surprised if he makes it to trial alive. If he makes it to trial and conviction we won't hear a word until it's time for his last words prior to execution.

You are right.Hair grows 1/2 inch per month.The last drawing of him was posted on Monday about 2 weeks after he was photographed with a shaved head.In that drawing it looks like his hair is about 2 inches long.Maybe this website will explain it.
