In 2007, it was revealed by reporters in Texas that unmanned drones were being used in supposed border control operations. We detailed that report with supporting evidence that drones clearly were being used inland away from border control functions. Recently, an article from Miami-Dade announced the arrival of a 16-pound micro drone T-Hawk surveillance model designed by Honeywell. The video below shows a more detailed view of the capabilities of this surveillance drone. Keep in mind, this is only what is being announced at the moment, which has nothing to do with the massive amounts of R&D that has being going on to reduce the size of flying surveillance. There have even been reports about “wasp” drones to sniff out Wi-FI networks as well. Pending FDA approval these specific unmanned aerial vehicles are set to be used domestically throughout the United States. Besides the obvious uses for these drones such as during a legitimate raid, these drones may be used in order to further the police state and restrict free speech in America. “U.K. police have used micro UAVs to monitor ‘anti-social behavior,’ writes Joseph Nevins of the Boston Review. What will be considered anti-social behavior remains to be seen but if the ever involving police state is any indication these drones will be used to spy on citizens against the private Federal Reserve, Obamacare, and the New World Order. This information is right out there in the open yet it seems that the American people are once again asleep at the wheel. Where are the widespread protests against the aerial surveillance of any American that the corrupt federal government chooses to set their sites on? We’re clearly entering some sort of science fiction reality where anything seems to be possible. We have flying vaccines on the backs of GM mosquitoes, as well as the imminent arrival of nanotechnology and nanobots in our daily lives, which only portends more nightmarish developments from the Department of Defense. But here is the latest from Honeywell, a huge military contractor working with DARPA: “At this point, domestic UAV operations are extremely limited. But with the astonishing growth of the industry and the efforts of AUVSI, the UAV Caucus, and others to loosen FAA restrictions, we can expect an explosion of use by local and federal policing agencies in the near future. such as political protests. This is simply another push towards a complete police state.”

You betcha. I've developed at least two tools that are now a federal offence to possess, as well as laws in about every state. The first dates back to the early 80s. Best not to talk to anybody about anything you do nowadays, especially if it's something that will benefit the citizens.

I'll bet it would be, but of course we are just speaking hypothetically. Although since microwave radiation is not in the visible spectrum it would also be hard to know where it came from.

So few to monitor so many. We need to turn it around on the elite and monitor them! We need to be the aggressors and they need to fear us, not us fear them.

I knew a guy who was a Swabian German (Czechoslovakia). He joined the Wehrmacht when the Germans annexed the area, His father protested his harsh treatment in boot camp and he was arrested and sent to the camps in Germany as a "dissenter". Last I heard he had still not found a trace of him. He was one of the few who were repatriated by the Soviets.

Another musing - I wonder how hard it would be to build a radio controlled interceptor? Everything is available off the shelf at reasonable cash prices. If you were really ingenious you could even put in a cheap wi-fi rig to give you telemetry and a bird's eye view. A bit more expensive, but what the hey? Everybody needs a hobby.
there was a park in Cedar Rapids Iowa with a kind of cross country jogging trail which surrounded a huge lawn where people would fly R/C planes, C R was home to Rockwell international, supplier of electronics to U.S. military and those on the U.S. friends list. any way some enterprising electronics buffs had built an over powered controller and would take command of planes others were flying and buzz and on more than one occasion run into the joggers. seems to me it took the law a couple years to make an arrest. by and by that was back in the early eighties when that took place.
That would have been a hoot - except for the running into them. Makes me think of an updated "Uneasy Rider" - "and just for fun I thought I'd chase them once around the parking lot..."
