An Answer for Bill February 1, 2011 : 11:43 AM Last week on his show Bill O’Reilly asked, “Why has southern New York turned into the tundra?” and then said he had a call into me. I appreciate the question. As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming: “In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.” “A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

How convenient. if it gets too hot, it's GW. if it gets too cold, it's GW. I shudder to think of the catastrophe we're in for if the temps remain the same. I guess that would be called the "ominous calm before the GW storm". .

Yeah, the ice age is due to global warming too. As well as the protests in Egypt and WW1 & WW2, all global warming. Soon WW3 will happen unless we stop this runaway global warming.

Actually, most scientists refer to it as "climate change" rather than "global warming" ... but it amounts to the same thing. The summers are becoming hotter, and often drier, with the result that not only cultivated, but wild, vegetation is killed off and scorched. The immediate result is that there are fewer roots and plants to hold moisture in the ground. Additionally, polar ice caps and mountain glaciers are melting ... all that thawed water has to go somewhere. In winter, with less water retained by plants in the soil or in glaciers, we get heavier and worse snow storms. This frequently damages the vegetation even more, so that a vicious cycle gathers speed. The present climate change is effectively causing violent extremes of both summar heat and winter cold. This will ultimately be reflected in scarcer food supplies and more demand for electricity and fuel (for air conditioning in summer and heating in winter), and possibly mass migration in search of more tolerable land.

It must be great to be a global warming advocate. You get to have it both ways. Too hot = global warming. Too cold = climate change. Only a stark raving fool would take this band of UN lefties seriously. PS: Has anyone seen the Gore lately? Last I saw him he was pushing 3 bills thanks to all those free KooK dinner affairs.

So it becomes de rigeur to criticize global warming while simultaneously warning that Monsanto is poisoning all of us... none of us here are expert enough to confirm or deny any of i Frankly, Al Gore creates an equal amount of skepticism on the issue. Monsanto is poisoning us all. : ) No, but we are all qualified to opine, complain and comment on it. And, who, besides Al Gore, is claiming to be an expert? Okay, I respect your choice to not chime in too much because you are fully aware of your ignorance......if only Al Gore would make the same choice.

PROVE IT!!!!!!!! Could be those solar flares that NASA and other scientists are warning about. Could be we're moving to the center of the galactic plane, in fact NASA scientists just put out another warning on the photon belt and those solar flares impacting climate. But, what do NASA scientists know? Could be that the world is heating up with all the hot air from Gore. Funny, how the sun is never given any credit or merit for temperatures, isn't it? That big ball of fire has been credited for temps on the earth right up until Al Gore came chirping about C20 and man-made globull warming. Why do you think that man is SO significant and that big ball of fire in the sky isn't, Shoonra?

Let's take a 2000 year long view of this climate change subject. How do you account that climate change/globull warming during midieval times? Were de humans using too much fossil fuel and making too much CO2? And what about those colder times........was that human created climate change too? Hey, maybe the SUN had something to do with it? : )

Like the unexplained phenom displayed when faux news showed a copy of Al Gore's bible on Global Warming lying on a New York sidewalk(that was being filmed by a time-lapsed camera)and with a wreckless,almost intentional barrage of snow,was buried within 1.7 minutes.
