Poster Comment: I dont know if this is legit or not. It's just something that I saw referenced on the History Channel. And, I never heard of this before.

An interesting read, and quite an elaborate hoax IF it is one, which I doubt. Click on link for larger image That's just it. Who knows. I know UFOs exist, but there is so much crap out there it's damn near impossible to separate the wheat from the chaff. .

For starters, the text on the bottom of the ship, is in a font called Aurabesh. Second, this was debunked YEARS ago. The other photo that someone posted of whatever the hell it was, also has the same font on it. FAKE. Period.

Fake it may be, but http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/c/cc/Aurebesh-GMSR.png is the font you referenced. I see no similarities between those symbols and teh symbols here: http://isaaccaret.fortunecity.com/pacl-lang-analysis-p119-fullsize.jpg I didn't go through all of the symbols but I picked a few at random and tried to match them up. They didn't match. But I didn't check the symbols on the 'ufo' pics yet. .

Normally, he off in LA-LA-LAND or CLOUD_X ready and willing to make a judgement on these matters as he has time from the other issues he personally confronts in his domicile with an aluminum foil (he can't afford tin) hat. OK. I have no problem in taking your word that this is a hoax. At least when it comes to the pics of the UFOs. It wouldn't be the first time some asshats faked it. But there is another thing here, the CARET story. Is that a hoax, or not. He said that he recognized the symbols. But imo symbols like this are hard to say if that, in and of itself, is evidence of a hoax, one way or the other. There are only so many ways to make small lines and shapes. There might be similarities but it might not be related to any font. .
I know two of the little morons who were directly involved with this hoax.

Second, this was debunked YEARS ago. Show the simularities. As far as "debunked"? The folks claiming to have debunked it have been proven to be huge bullshitters who just tossed out whatever shit they could to see if it would stick. None of it did, and everything about what they said was proven to be either lies, or pompous claims by those with no idea of what they were talking about. Yet a very cursory examination of the story may lead a person with an axe to grind against such things to think they've found all the proof they need.

So who invented that font there guys? I'd like the name of the inventer, the date, and location. Those charts that relate to the CARET docs STILL don't look like the same thing to me, but did you ever think that perhaps whoever DID publish the font you bring up did so as a "lookie here, it already exists" sort of sleight of hand?

So, he is asked how to differentiate the two pictures below: Yeah, if anyone can set us straight, he can. I'm sure it will involve HAARP, chemtrails, John Wheeler, and corexit. Perhaps he can wrap all of this up in a neat, tidy little package. But he seems to be behaving somewhat better, lately. Perhaps the roads are now clear enough so he can finally get his meds refilled. BTW, it's interesting that your pic was taken down. .

Regardless, it's not the same set of symbols. There is a simularity, but they are not the same. BTW, do you know the source of the Aurabesh font? Ever hear of a movie called Star Wars? Now, can you provide the names of the developers of that font, and which studios were involved? From what I've read, it was released in 1997. From what I've also read, the first images of these "drones" displaying this sort of font was back in the early 90's or so. From what I've just found, and noticed when first viewing the charts, there is a DIRECT correlation with the CARET charts and crop circles... Aurabesh

If you were to actually read the entire thread, and find others like it on the net, it's still undetermined if it's a hoax or not. There are some who CLAIM it is, but there are others with Photoshop and real CGI experience who say it can't be. EDIT: Here's a link to a very long thread at the UFO Casebook site... All I can say is that it was there, in Buckeroos post, yesterday. Do a copy/paste of the properties of that missing pic, (or right click/open in new tab) and put it in your browser. It's not on that site anymore. You can also go to the site and look for it. It's not there. The timing is interesting. Here it is, half size. So they do allow hotlinking images. Well, it worked in "Preview", but it's too large for this forum so I didn't post it. .

Actually, similar craft with similar symbols have been seen back to 1967, although I'm not finding images of the 1967 sighting yet. There ARE some from 1977 though. Here's a link to the full rundown on the sightings.

There is one aspect to his story that, to me, is a little suspicious. From the site: Even before I actually decided to do it, I was sure that I would be able to sneak certain materials out with me. I wanted to do this because I knew the day would come when I would want to write something like this, and I knew I'd regret it until the day I died if I didn't at least leave the possibility open to do so. So I started photocopying documents and reports by the dozen. Contrary to the accusations of a few here ;) I have no intel background. However, I find it hard to believe that in a project as secret as this, they did not secure their copiers. .
