I dont know if this is legit or not. It's just something that I saw referenced on the History Channel. And, I never heard of this before.

For starters, the text on the bottom of the ship, is in a font called Aurabesh.

Second, this was debunked YEARS ago.

The other photo that someone posted of whatever the hell it was, also has the same font on it.

FAKE. Period.

Fake it may be, but http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/c/cc/Aurebesh-GMSR.png is the font you referenced. I see no similarities between those symbols and teh symbols here: http://isaaccaret.fortunecity.com/pacl-lang-analysis-p119-fullsize.jpg

I didn't go through all of the symbols but I picked a few at random and tried to match them up. They didn't match.

But I didn't check the symbols on the 'ufo' pics yet.

The decisive answer is still being debated between the two ears of Original_Intent. Normally, he off in LA-LA-LAND or CLOUD_X ready and willing to make a judgement on these matters as he has time from the other issues he personally confronts in his domicile with an aluminum foil (he can't afford tin) hat.
