As to the need for money, someone's gotta pay for all of the body-armor riot gear that they have so that they can take even more, perhaps even your life, from you in the future! Us taxpayers aren't quite holding up our end of the bargain for those with jobs being paid from our money, so hey, they have to resort to this in these tough economic times!
