This is a quite spectacular display of otherwordly technology. The video starts off slow, but you need to watch the whole thing, I guarantee that it'll be amazing.

Both vids are fake for the simple fact that during the flash, the street lights and every light in the frame go brighter, and bleed into the object. This is what happens when you raise the contrast in after effects. The second video is taken by a friend of the first guy. A friend of mine who works at ILM let me know the particulars.

Yeah right. The flash is ONLY below the object in an area under it. Areas outside of that area do not change in brightness..

In the closer video, the object dramatically increases in luminence well beyond any change in "contrast" (I think you mean brightness) in the surrounding area.

Here's the slowed down video; it'll give you a better idea of the way that flash occured. The first flash was the brightest, but you can see it was the area immediately under object that became brighter, but not as bright as the object itself. The second flash, though weaker, shows this effect more clearly.

The areas of interest in the video are as follows;

The second video is taken by a friend of the first guy.

You mean the guy with the cellphone in the frame of the first guy's video? Yeah obviously, and that proves that two cameras recorded the same thing from the same perspective, although from a different lens.

A friend of mine who works at ILM let me know the particulars.

Huh huh. And what exactly is ILM Tommy?
