I finally decided to e-file my taxes.

The IRS rejected my return, saying they couldn't confirm my identity. I tried to get a PIN online. It said they couldn't confirm my identity.

I called. They said I answered the questions wrong. I waited fiften minutes to speak to a supervisor and was disconected.

I called back and finally got through.

The problem was they had my address as 410 instead of 401. Their fault completely...and it was what caused the whole problem.

Their seasonal, part-time, help is beyond the pale.

Otherwise un-employable morons.

e-file

My views on filing electronically:

Don't do it.

By filing with e-file, you provide your banking info, and the Goobs can take your money from your checking account or credit card at any time.

When NaziCare kicks in, those in the Government can simply take your money and sign you up. Don't make it easy for them fascist pigs by providing finiancial info. Make 'em work for it. Citizens should use money order to protect your funds.

They can do it anyway.

The IRS can put a lien on your bank account anytime they feel like it. They already know your bank info.

"If ever this vast country is brought under a single government, it will be one of the most extensive corruption, indifferent and incapable of a wholesome care over so wide a spread of surface. This will not be borne, and you will have to choose between reform and revolution. If I know the spirit of this country, the one or the other is inevitable." - Thomas Jefferson

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

Best to file an extension.

Since 1988, 15 Oct is my filing date.

To do otherwise, would be a huge Red Flag.
