Well, here’s a shocker: Some of the people who phone in to talk radio shows (that caller with the pitch-perfect rant, provocative comment or burning question) may actually be hired actors reading from scripts. I’m not an angry listener, but I play one on radio!

If [the actor] passed the audition, he would be invited periodically to call in to various talk shows and recite various scenarios that made for interesting radio. He would never be identified as an actor, and his scenarios would never be identified as fabricated—which they always were.
“I was surprised that it seemed so open,” the actor told me in an interview. “There was really no pretense of covering it up.”

Curious, the actor did some snooping and learned that Premiere On Call was a service offered by Premiere Radio Networks, the largest syndication company in the United States and a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, the entertainment and advertising giant. Premiere syndicates some of the more sterling names in radio, including Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity. But a great radio show depends as much on great callers as it does on great hosts: Enter Premiere On Call.

“Premiere On Call is our new custom caller service,” read the service’s website, which disappeared as this story was being reported (for a cached version of the site click here). “We supply voice talent to take/make your on-air calls, improvise your scenes or deliver your scripts. Using our simple online booking tool, specify the kind of voice you need, and we’ll get your the right person fast. Unless you request it, you won’t hear that same voice again for at least two months, ensuring the authenticity of your programming for avid listeners.”

I said years ago that Pills Limbuggerer used fake callers. It became obvious, to me anyway, when I caught him using one who was making just exactly the point Rush wanted made but didn't want it come out of his own mouth.

The big Talk Radio Shows are no different than, and every bit as genuine as, "Professional Wrestling".

OK, so what's the alternative? Do we all listen to "Air America" or ABC for the leftists view?

I can guarantee you the DNC has shills calling talk radio all the time, just as they have them posting on the net.

If it's BS, just turn it off. Doesn't matter if the BS is red or blue. Start your own Ham radio show or listen to others. Tune into independent programs on the net. Basically, if it's aired on any of the MSM lines it's BS.

We're in a war for the hearts & minds of people who've been brainwashed by the leftist MSM. I'll take Rush, Beck and yes, a few shill callers from the right, if it wakes up some dozing sheeple.

People wake up in stages, Rush & Beck have done more to wake people up than an thousand internet message boards. We lost this country incrementally and we'll get it back the same way. Unless you want to quit, putting up with imperfection is a fact of life.

The war is funded by the same interests. Divide and conquer is a nice diversion to crush our constitution and rob us blind. Do you really believe that the war of "hearts and minds" boils down to which side of the two party fraud you want to get behind?

Anybody who is still listening to Rush and Beck has yet to awaken and are easily distracted by the minutia. Where have they been for the past two decades while the wealth of this nation has been squandered, while the MIC has grown to leviathan proportions for the interests of the NWO and outsourced our entire economy? They were cheering it on, Flint. This is why they long ago lost any notion of credibility or trustworthiness, along with the rest of the MSM.

Almost by definition those who tune in to "Pills" and "Dreck" are those who are already waking up, are already more aware of some of the realities, and in time, with good information will have the house light up. It is the function of popular MSM "conservative" personalities to keep them under control by feeding them some good information and spinning it to a false conclusion.

Rush supported CAFTA, NAFTA, and SHAFTA. He spins away from the reality of 911, Waco, Ruby Ridge, OKC, etc., ....

Now I think they do inadvertently waken some people up to the point to where they see that Pills, Dreck, and Fiends are furthering the divide and planting Red Herrings to lead away from the reality. However, none of them are our friends. The people that they "wake up" were already waking up and they lead many more people to false views than wake up.

Maybe some who tune into Dreck, but it's a small portion. I've never met a Pills listener who was awake.

Seriously, listening to a pill-popping, hypocritical, arrogant, neocon, bank-MIC whore windbag, isn't a sign of higher level cognition, awareness or conscience. I would argue that tuning in is the absence of these.

Egads, NO!!! I've never even turned Air America on. Have you? I don't think I even know any person who listens to Air America. I tuned out of network TV years ago as well because no matter the MSM channel, it's all about the BS.

I did listen to Dreck for a spell as he seemed to be promoting the constitution......but then he avoided so many basic truths, wasted odious amounts of airtime flicking crap over irrelevant celebrities, omitted key points in history etc. He soon lost credibility as I was ready to give him the benefit of the doubt about a possible turn around after the crapping on the constitution by Bush that he had previously cheered. He proved he wasn't worthy of the benefit of the doubt.
