Who here uses FireFox? Are you just using the free version? Has any one "purchased" it yet? Beta version of 4.0 now available, any one trying it?

I feel we should all support them. A great browser.
I use Firefox, have for a good while.
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. He (Gordon Duff) also implies that forcibly removing Obama, a Constitution-hating, on-the-down-low, crackhead Communist, is an attack on America, Mom, and apple pie. I swear these military people are worse than useless. Just look around at the condition of the country and tell me if they have fulfilled their oaths to protect the nation from all enemies foreign and domestic. Walking down to a street corner and buying a paper kicks IE's ass.

I didn't know that they have a pay version. IMO it's not just FF, but also the add-ons that I like. .

I'm using 3.6.13 for the Mac. No IE available anymore, and Safari pissed me off because it has only one search engine in the bar, "McGoogle", which I refuse to use. I have Ixquick as my default Search Engine on FF. I do miss the pop-up editor that Mozilla had.

I use Firefox and Thunderbird at home, and IE and Outlook at work.

Yes, but I didn't upgrade because it requires OS 10.5 or higher and I have OS 10.4.11 and no intention of buying the upgrade for this machine - which will not be supported at all when Lion is released.

Too late, I learned of the release of Lion. Dammitalltohell! That was not a cheap expenditure, either. Perhaps I should just it back to Fry's and wait until summer.
...which will not be supported at all when Lion is released.

The current iteration of OS X is fine. The intitial release of Lion will be quickly upgraded to 10.7.x so I'd wait a while and then buy an upgrade after about 6 months - by then most of the bigger bugs will be found and patched. While an Apple OS release is never as buggy as Microsloth it is a big OS and no doubt there will be some problems.

Thanks for the advice. I need to clear the desk, suck up, and make the change. The iMac is doing no good resting in the guest bedroom, and Mrs.L is getting chapped at its being there.
