Title: Billionaire Mark Cuban To Give Charlie Sheen A TV Show?

The Charlie Sheen press juggernaut shows no sign of slowing, despite fears that the media is exploiting a man who appears on the verge of a complete meltdown. On the contrary, the former ‘Two And A Half Men’ star and current Twitter king might have a permanent small screen home soon, if billionaire sports and media magnate Mark Cuban has his way. Before watching his Dallas Mavericks play on Sunday, he told reporters he was considering giving Sheen a slot on his HDNet cable channel. Cuban said a talk show and reality show were among the options on the table:

“We’re trying to decide. Right now, we’re taping a lot of different things that he’s doing and we’ll try to figure it out. It’s still not 100 percent certain. We’ll do something together, but it’s not certain it will be a show. It’ll come down to what he wants do and what his situation is. We’ll just figure it out from there, but it’s a unique opportunity, I’ll say that.”

According to the ESPN report, Cuban defended Sheen’s Saturday night webcast on UStream, which attracted 150,000 viewers but was criticized on the actor’s social media platform of choice, Twitter, and by media bloggers. Said Cuban:

“Everybody wants to critique a Web show that got put together in a few hours. That’s not the point. It gave him a chance to be himself and have some fun. The thing I like the most about Charlie is that he just loves to mess with the media. You guys fall hook, line and sinker.”

What do you think? Could Sheen — who holds the record for highest paid sitcom actor in history, and was #63 on Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list last year — make a comeback via Cuban?

Cuban is a genius ... Charlie Sheen could put late night TV out of business if he plays his cards right ... and Cuban/Sheen is a perfect match.

Well charlie isn't winning, even though he is trying. He needs to dump one of his girlfriends at least, two at the same time is not something many people, especially females are going to like about him. His lawyers gave him good advice, stop talking to the media now. He needs to get his act together and think clearer before doing such interviews. I personally like the guy, not sure why, I guess because deep down I think he is a good guy.

God is always good!

I agree with you.

I like him too without a definitve reason. I think many of us recognize a little Charlie Sheen in ourselves. It's like being bullied by someone (or some entities) to the point where the ass whipping one might get is preferable to the destruction of ones own self-image as a man. I'm sure Charlie has seen enough of the Hollywood hypocrisy, the propaganda, the pay-offs, bribery and blackmail to realize that Hollywood is the micro and Washington, D.C. is the macro ... all bullshit and lies shoved up the ass of anyone working to succeed.

His initial Charlie's Korner was a little rough around the edges and could be "super-tuned" - I'd like to see him do a "DRUDGE-LIKE" (wearing the hat - smoking the cigarettes) late-night reality based talk show on the internet ONLY - that could become an international ass-kicking, MSM exterminating, "WINNER" by exposing and poking fun at the bullshit we're fed daily like Glo-BULL WARMING - GUNS ARE EVIL - THE FED LOVES YOU - etc., !

Mark Cuban has been harrassed by the FEDS ever since he got involved with 9-11 Truth - and just maybe he's the exact right guy to help Charlie focus !

Charlie could invite like minded celebrities sort of like Johnny Carson ... I'm telling you that the potential for success here is tremendous - and Charlie Sheen can pull it off if he's willing to put a silencer on his 50 caliber machine gun mind and mouth !

Uhh, I'll take a stab here, because his morals are as filthy as they make 'em?

How about, we all make mistakes - and Sheen's made his without excuses ... and he wants to say "hey, fuck off, I'll do it my way and pay the consequences" you mind your own business.

I'm no saint, but I'm also no Charlie Sheen, who to me is yet another prime high-profile example of how fame ruins people.

Well, it was the "puritans" that decided one wife was the limit, not God. (I'm for monogamy myself). Is it possible for someone to truly love more than one person ? All of the Patriarchs had multiple wives.

And marriage licenses weren't required either - God only authorized written divorce.

I'm no saint either, and agree that our society is degenerating. We have to live alongside of people that may not share our morality. The way we see things may not agree with everyone else.

Charlie surely needs to clean himself up, but recall that King David was given a young girl to sleep with prior to his death - to keep him warm !!!

But again, his show is moral filth! Filth! It contributes to the core problem in our country as well as being a symptom for it.

I haven't watched it because I don't use my TV for anything other than netflix so I can't be critical. I've "heard" that he pretty much plays himself on the TV Show - which wouldn't be something I'd watch "NOW" ... that's not to say I might not have watched it in days long past.

All I'm saying is that the Bible doesn't demand monogamy or marriage licenses.

True repentance is something that generally occurs after we've hit the very bottom. Charlie is hampered by being rich to such an extent that he falls back on the cash instead of God. That's why it's harder for a rich man to reach the kingdom than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.

Poverty is seldom viewed as a blessing but in certain circumstances it is one.

So when he comes out and begins doing voice-overs for healthy Christian childrens programming, let me know, eh.

OK, I will let you know when that happens.

And for all the guy's faults, he hasn't killed people like "our hero" soldiers have. If killing isn't a worse sin than what Charlie has done then something is wrong.

EDIT: I have just viewed Sheen's Korner Ep 3: on USTREAM - and have diminishing hope for Charlie Sheen's mental health or anything positive coming forth from him. We may be witnessing a Greek Tragedy in motion.

You can ignore everything stated in this post - Sheen is losing his mind - or evil forces have conquered it. He looks to be going down in "FLAMES" pun intended.

Charlie Sheen is a product of his environment much like all of us. He has a lot of bad habits primarily because he can. His wealth has allowed him to avoid any serious introspection. If Charlie wasn't so wealthy we might have pity upon him as we would a crack whore that struggles on the streets doing anything to get another rock.

I do see your point of view. And, I agree with most of what you're saying. I too see Charlie as a lost soul in many respects but I don't see him as public enemy #1, and if I were being honest I'd admit that I too was a self-centered, womanizing, drunken, dope riddled, arrogant asshole with enough money to buy my way out of trouble for a very long time. When I think back on things I see God's hand in changing me and my attitude. If it can happen to an asshole such as myself it can happen to Sheen. (God is no respector of persons).

Jesus spoke a parable about debtors in which he points out that the debtor (sinner) that has the greater amount of debt (sin) forgiven is more grateful. Jesus also said that "none come unto the Father lest they be called." I was very stubborn in my sinful behavior because I had a lot of fun sinning. I was beaten into making a "free will" choice to live as God instructs us. Charlie just hasn't had his ass kicked yet, and that day may never come for him if he has sold his soul to evil. [God chastens those he loves]. I believe this is true and I'm no sadist.

His most recent conversations reference warlocks and witches. This is scary and indicates he's possibly being influenced by some other force than before. In the past, Charlie has shown remorse and made some attempt to rectify his behavior. This time he's chosen to say "says who" when told he needs help. He's challenging everything that we're instructed is acceptable or "normal" when we're living in an upside down world. He's looking at the hypocrisy we live in and stating he doesn't want to be lectured to by hypocrites.

I'm not giving Sheen a pass. I'm not a fan. But I can't help but appreciate his feisty nature and his decision to fight the Babylonian Hollywood Jews. His life has been lived in a front row seat at the Synagogue of Satan. He has been taken up to the pinnacle of power like Jesus in the desert and offered the world. I don't know if he can say "get thee hence Satan" ? He's truly in danger both physically and spiritually.

I agree with you about his ego running roughshod over his brain. His anger, deserved or not, is tremendous and his ego is using that anger to attack his perceived enemies. He's acting out like a Royal brat, saying and doing the first thing that comes to mind. That's where I think Mark Cuban can be a blessing and help the general overall cause if he can get Sheen to focus on exposing the hypocrisy we're living in.

Sheen's Korner should be treated as an adult show and viewed only by adults. I don't know how this can be accomplished but it should. Many less than perfect people have contributed to the advancement of truth in differing ways, such as Limbaugh or Beck. They move people to think about things that often cause them to think outside of the agenda being promoted. I was a "ditto-dummy" for awhile but the larger truth broke through the half-truths and I saw Limbaugh for the big fat fraud he actually was, the same goes for the other talking heads. But, it all started with Limbaugh.

I try to see the positive potential and admit there may be none there. And, respecting Sheen, I try to imagine walking in his shoes though I know I can't, but give him the benefit of the doubt. In my opinion he's at the precipice and must make a decision to do good or remain the narcissist serving himself.

In the larger view, Sheen doesn't run the FED, doesn't drop bombs on babies, and most of his antics are self-destructive (excepting his children). Again, Charlie's at the edge of the abyss and I hope he can survive it for his benefit and the benefit of everyone else that could be helped to break out of the total hypocrisy paradigm.

My sister recently mentioned seeing a guy from my youth that was the most terrible heroin addicted bully that I've ever known. I said I didn't think he'd still be alive and asked what he was doing. She said he had a prison ministry for youth.

Faith, IMHO, is getting out of God's way and trusting Him. There are no accidents.

I've been there and it's not a friendly environment. I didn't ever enjoy Sheen's success level, but the negative effects of drug addiction and the "shame" attached are always similar.

Charlie's chances of surviving are diminishing daily. It's truly sad.
