The Charlie Sheen press juggernaut shows no sign of slowing, despite fears that the media is exploiting a man who appears on the verge of a complete meltdown. On the contrary, the former Two And A Half Men star and current Twitter king might have a permanent small screen home soon, if billionaire sports and media magnate Mark Cuban has his way. Before watching his Dallas Mavericks play on Sunday, he told reporters he was considering giving Sheen a slot on his HDNet cable channel. Cuban said a talk show and reality show were among the options on the table: Were trying to decide. Right now, were taping a lot of different things that hes doing and well try to figure it out. Its still not 100 percent certain.Well do something together, but its not certain it will be a show. Itll come down to what he wants do and what his situation is. Well just figure it out from there, but its a unique opportunity, Ill say that.
According to the ESPN report, Cuban defended Sheens Saturday night webcast on UStream, which attracted 150,000 viewers but was criticized on the actors social media platform of choice, Twitter, and by media bloggers. Said Cuban:
Everybody wants to critique a Web show that got put together in a few hours. Thats not the point. It gave him a chance to be himself and have some fun. The thing I like the most about Charlie is that he just loves to mess with the media. You guys fall hook, line and sinker.
What do you think? Could Sheen who holds the record for highest paid sitcom actor in history, and was #63 on Forbes Celebrity 100 list last year make a comeback via Cuban?

Cuban is a genius ... Charlie Sheen could put late night TV out of business if he plays his cards right ... and Cuban/Sheen is a perfect match.
