Well I think that is kinda defeatist thinking.

You're not licked till you give up and what we have here is something called "A real opportunity" a way to push back a small portion of the tide of over reaching federal government.

Well buddy the change starts with ourselves.

Your right about talk. It is cheap. Thats why actions speak louder than words.

This bill? It is a step in the right direction. One that we should not have to make considering the clear words of the constitution ...but since the federal government has gone insane apparently we have to pass these things on a state level now.

Now... we could just sit here and bemoan our fates and talk on and on about how nothing is ever gonna change OR we can do something about it.

As for what we should be doing?

ANYTHING and everything we can.

I normally take radical actions but this state legislation gives texas (and myself) an outlet to do things properly.

If your Texan I would implore you to write your state senator and representatives urging them to pass Simpsons bills.
