Federal agents believe they've intercepted intelligence from the notorious Mara Salvatruchas gang who seem to be planning to assassinate federal and local police in the coming days.

They have forwarded a safety memo to area authorities.
In the intelligence bulletin obtained by Action 4 News, a confidential informant in Virginia claims the Mara Salvatruchas have designated October 30 as "Kill A Law Enforcement Officer Day".
The memo cites the informant as someone who's provided reliable information in the past.
Reliable or not, Valley police aren't taking chances. In Hidalgo, chief Vernon Rosser believes everyone has their guard up.
"Along the Mexican border, I feel very comfortable that not only this agency but all the other agencies are paying attention to these bulletins," Rosser said. "We pay a lot of attention to the fact that we do have people that are in close proximity that are possible terrorists, or on death wish missions."
Rosser says the threats on officers safety are common. He says the best way to be ready is to train officers that every day is "kill a cop" day... saying even a traffic stop warrants the highest level of caution.
"And so people that are being involved in traffic stops, they should understand a lot of times they deem the officer of being aggressive but he's really being cautious because he has no idea who he's dealing with. It could be someone that's trying to fulfill October 30th, death day."
Rosser also believes that the date on the bulletin could be a deterrent. While his town could be a target he believes the Mara's will go elsewhere to carryout their threats.
"I feel that if something like this were to happen, it's probably gonna happen in a larger area where it's easier to do something like this and you can conceal yourself with a heavier population."
The bulletin originated with an agency called Federal Protective Services.
They say the MS 13's want to kill officers because of the pressure they are under from U.S. Customs agents "Operation Community Shield" - a nationwide initiative targeting violent street gangs.

NC Girl brought this piece forth last night...yet, very little discussion about it. That's a little bizarre...be it we've had a group literally towing the line on the Arizona-Mexican border. Some speculate that these groups are NWO dupes....lackies as they say. I, for one, wouldn't be surprised. But the lack of input is curious however...
Here's the thing. Let the MS13 kill the cops. Let them kill as many law enforcement people they can. Here's why. The minute that the cops start losing their fellow LEO's to these scumbags due to the President's lack of interest in the border, and you'll see the thin blue line, become very VERY angry. When that happens, I guarantee you, there won't be a gang problem. Here's some reasons why. Cops hate it when other cops die. In fact, Cops often do the unthinkable, and carry out a form of justice that would have made the wild west look tame by comparison, and you know, I'm all for it. I'm all for the cops doing their jobs, and ridding our cities and towns of the scourge known as gangs. A friend of mine died because some WANNABE gangbangers tried stealing her car, to carry out a robbery. They raped her first, then shot her in the back of the head, left her on the side of a dirt road to die. What happened to these little maggots? They went to prison, and aint getting out til they're dead. Her mom was destroyed by this, because her daughter was really a special person who got wrapped up with the wrong people. Why let the cops get killed? Because when the cops have had enough, you won't have any more gangs to worry about. The cops will wage war, law or no law, simply to protect their own. If it means killing every last gang banger, so be it. When the cops start losing people, and the public outcry becomes loud enough, we'll see a closed border with Mexico, but I anticipate it will take a lot more than a few dead cops to get things really rolling in that regard. When we start losing people, start seeing Mexican Gangland violence, when the people get fed up with subsidizing the illegal alien scourge, when the people start losing their incomes, and jobs, and then can't seem to find any other means of support, that's when things will start to change. Right now, there are too many comfortable people in America for this to get addressed. Let the cops start dying, and that's when you'll start hearing the outcry, provided they aren't shouted down as racists.

I know. We've got the MS13 here in Minneapolis, and St. Paul. Two of these little pricks beat up this Hmong kid because he was wearing a red t-shirt. Unreal. I say, let the people who are law abiding gun owners, start hunting these bastards down like the pieces of waste they are, and you won't have a gang problem. Then again, if our president and his band of assclowns were on the ball, they would have closed the border with Mexico on 9-12-2001. BUT NO... We have the biggest bunch of polesmoking morons in the highest offices of the land, dictating policies that favor illegal immigration over the interests of the American People. Let the cops start dying in the streets, and I PROMISE, the cops won't take it lightly.

Thanks for correcting the handle robin...that is, "up"...Many "Meixcan jobs" in NC are a plenty now...but the future is pointing to Tom Chittum's CWII however..

About 10 years ago,a small contingent of them tried to take over a nearby town of about 6K people. They didn't last long when they started screwing with the coal crackers. They routinely got the shit beat out of them because they didn't have the overwhelming numbers that they usually use to intimidate people. The town cops were aware of their presense and just ignored it when they got their asses beat. I'm sure that was one time they were happy about the town- toughs assisting them in taking out the trash. They eventually left and never came back. I'm surprised they didn't break out their infamous machettes but they never did.
