Maybe I won't. Would take more time than they're worth.

People who don't show up for votes this important, or just vote present, should be immediately removed from office.

Thanks for posting that info for us showing the Republican and Tea Party votes, Flintlock. The website below shows a red bar for Republicans and a blue bar for Democrats to the left of their names in the Yes, No, and Not Voting columns, with their States listed to the right -- which the clerk.house.gov Roll Call purposely omits as SOP except for those with the same last name. That clerk also sloppily and slyly refers to Democrat party votes as "Democratic", I suppose to give the impression that Republicans and Independents aren't. This site omits Amash's "Present" vote but is otherwise a more thorough and clear listing:

I suppose I should have guessed from your post that he's a Michigan Republican, like Ford was (born Leslie King, Jr. in Omaha, NE; only U.S. President never elected to any office higher than Congress, says one site), but I didn't so I searched for some info about Amash and thought I found a link to an interview with Greta Van Susteren as to why he voted "Present" on this, but it turned out to be a roundabout communique about another recent "Present" vote by him on defunding National Public Radio. She didn't think his explanation about his Afghanistan vote should be included in her posting. Imagine that. These are excerpts that show her dodgy reportage and his voting check-list that surprisingly is ethics-based but amounts to vague guessing games for us per his war-stance, nevertheless:

Here is Congressman Amash's explanation for voting "present"

Greta Van Susteren | March 17, 2011

GVS: I received the Congressman's [NPR vote] explanation from my FNC colleague Chad Pergram and it is only right and fair that I post his explanation so that YOU can see it. (Note that the Congressman also voted "present" about a resolution having to do with Afghanistan and has provided an explanation for that vote but I have not included it below since I only raised the NPR resolution vote in my posting.)

Amash: As I have stated repeatedly, I will vote "present" on legislation in three circumstances: (1) when I support the legislation's goals, but the legislation uses improper means; (2) when Representatives have not been given a reasonable amount of time to consider the legislation; or (3) when I have a conflict of interest, such as a personal or financial interest in the legislation—a circumstance that hasn't happened yet and I don't anticipate happening. Unfortunately, due to the improper means H R 1076 uses to accomplish its laudable goal, I must vote "present."

Ref. 4um thread Ron Paul To Introduce A Bill That Says The President Can't Impose A NO-Fly Zone Over Libya, Post #2 -- 14th Amendment, Paragraph 3.

There is no Congressional Declaration of War for Afghanistan or Iraq. Every Congressperson who has voted to keep our troops there is an insurrectionist in rebellion against our Constitution and is therefore ineligible to remain in office. They are also denying the right to vote to those who are killed and the greivously wounded so their States should have to recalculate their representation accordingly per Paragraph 2 of the 14th Amendment:

2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

Sir Lod...

Way back, THE VOTERS VOTED FOR MORE WAR, it was quite plain to see that Paul in no way was going to influence the system, not then, not now.

Republican partisan voters need to suck it up country wide, they wanted McCain as their candidate and they got him. Now he is backing Obama into yet another military fiasco in Libya.

There was NO CHOICE, Obama or McCain, yet 120 million Americans dutifully rubber stamped their approval of more war.

Grey...

Truman side stepped the Congress in the declaration of war requirements and since then war has become a national pastime. Presidents have gone on TV to appeal to American patriotism to support whatever military action they desire to take, AND TO OUR DISCREDIT, IT HAS WORKED EVERY TIME.

Our first police action was over sixty years ago and we are still there.

thanks for the info. I notice that Tom McClintock is not on the 'get out' list. even though he was on tv last year saying the wars were not even unconstitutional and were a mistake. proven Phony once again.
