When are Americans going to learn?

You can whine and moan and complain. You will have war.

You can protest and organize and write letters. You will have war.

You can weep and bleed and vote this way and that way. You will have war.

When are Americans going to learn?

It is a violation of Natural Law to use this document in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Americans are PROGRAMMED TO DO JUST THAT.

We cannot see it, we will NOT ADMIT IT.

American masses are their own worst enemies.

Yes, and the psychological conditioning is massive and sophisticated.

Yes, and the psychological conditioning is massive and sophisticated.

Most will not even consider discussing the subject.

They are far to sophisticated to have ever been programmed.

When a 16 year olde lad comes to me and says a teacher told him he has been programmed since kiddy garter and asks if that is true, that is not saying much for middle age people that deny any such thing.

Look at latest, the fleabaggers deserted Paul in droves, hewing to the party line.

"In the end, 8 Republicans and 85 Democrats voted to end the occupation. 222 Republicans and 99 Democrats voted for endless war. It failed 93-321."

So much for the fleabaggers and change one at a time. Utter nonsense.

I'd argue the mess in Vietnam was brought to a halt in the 60s and early 70s by the very kids who were then being asked to fight it. They certainly stopped conscription, leaving today's military an all volunteer spear head for the Empire to use as they choose.

58,000 dead was a strong argument for ending that war.

That's a lot of flag-draped boxes coming home.

We haven't bled enough in the Middle East. Right now most of us rationalize our losses with the thought that it's some other joker doing the bleeding and the dying.

When it reaches the level of 24-50 guys a day showing up on the local obituary pages, the sheep begin to bleat.

I believe that at the current rate the PTB can keep up these "low intensity" conflicts forever.

We're it not for the utility of today's body armor and rebuilt Humvees, I believe we'd be at those Vietnam numbers today. That said, millions of kids in the streets in the 60s got the attention of the war machine and turned the table around. A repeat of that might be the biggest reason a repeat of the draft is a non starter, IMO.

US military is now the employer of last resort for many kids and countless Mexicans looking for a quick path to citizenship.

Now that they've added openly homos to the mix, they'll have enough bodies to war-on for decades.

Yes, our military has become a menagerie of side show freaks. PC has won the day. Is it any wonder this army, equipped with the most modern technologies can't win a war? Not that they're fighting to win, and more importantly, not that they should be there.
