Dear Friends,

Larry Becraft has sent out this reminder regarding the deadline for public comment regarding proposed changes to "6020(b)" regulations. I believe it is critical for Americans to understand the everyday practices of the IRS to understand how the agency has been deceiving the public for so long. It appears the IRS is trying to cover its tracks regarding its questionable "6020(b)" practices and I encourage you to visit the website mentioned by Larry to increase your understanding of the consequences.

Folks,

As an exercise in making government work, I ask all of you to take a few moments and go to:

http://www.stop6020now.com/

The IRS is now proposing new regulations for an important activity to which we can object. This site explains how to do so. When this site first was posted, objections to these regs could be made via direct links, but because of this site and the traffic it generated, IRS changed things to make it harder to object over the Net. But please read what is posted at the above and object: there are only 7 days left for objections.

On Monday, July 18, 2005, IRS published in the Federal Register a notice that it planned to formally adopt “new” regulations for § 6020. At the same time and in the same issue of the Federal Register, IRS adopted temporary regulations obviously designed to put into place temporary regulations until the final regulations are adopted.

Because the IRS is now proposing to adopt formal regulations regarding this very important procedure, it is believed that the American public should be aware of this IRS effort and to comment thereon. That is the purpose of this website.

Thanks for the links/info.

One if by land, two if by sea...how many if they are already here?

Screw the federal register. Its not an act of congress. Unconstitutional. No wonder I hate our illegal government.
