How about an "ignore thread" option? We could have it right at the beginning of the thread and anyone who doesn't want the thread to come up in "latest comments" could just click on the "ignore thread" and they wouldn't be bothered anymore...

There aleady IS that option wud. Look at the bottom of the article, you'll see it there...
Of course, the threads you choose to Ignore will pile up in a list in the Setup area, on the Content Filter page (where your bozo list is). So you have to go and delete them out. For this reason, I just don't use that feature. I'm not sure how I would want it to behave differently though. I just know I don't use it as I want to avoid having to go clean it up. Also, introducing more things for the database to scan through increases server CPU load and the general speed of 4um so I don't like to do anything that makes 4um run any slower. At present, it's nice and quick and I like it that way.
