What a terrible legacy. Yep, that one is still going. But, let's be fair. That thread is more like a a major speed bump on a four lane highway to irrelevant cesspool that has been zipping along full speed for awhile. Threads come and go. LP will return to flame wars, insults, back-biting and bickering beyond that one thread in no time.
======================================= If Goldi is gone, so is LP. She hasn't erased that thread yet, and normally she would. Something very not right.
I just checked - her last posting was noon:17 Eastern on the 29th. However, it is not uncommon for her to not post anything for days at a time. So, it is inconclusive.
I was thinking very same thing, Goldi is often AWOL for several days. As much as I despise her political maneuvering concerning Israel, I hope the impromptu reports of her demise are just some retarded NAMBLA/YUKON/ACORN stunt.
At first I thought it was just yukko coming back to cause trouble (ie. I'm Back), and Gatlin and the rest of his crew were just taking his side. It would be a fairly decent cover to pretend that LP had been hacked, where Goldi herself were in on it to assist in the show. However, like I said last night on the "Yukon Drops the Soap" thread, I'm beginning to think it's a staged attack by some faction of the ClownPosse, where I'm beginning to doubt "I'm Back" is even yukon. I used to get into prolonged drawn out battles with him so I know how he reacts and how he responds to certain things. "I'm Back" put on a pretty decent show for a period of time, but I doubt he's actually yukon. Gatlin, harrowup, 22rifle, and God knows how many others appear to be either hacked accounts or were in on it from the beginning. Somebody with inside info might have known Goldi would be going away for a period of time and used that as a window of opportunity, who knows. A lot of your assumptions are wrong. I don't expect you to believe me but you will eventually see I am right. If any Clown Posse type stuff is going on (and it appears there is) the culprits are not who you think they are.

I don't think she is dead. I think she quit on her own - she was crushed by what yukon did so badly the only thing her demented mind could come up with is to fake her death and exit. Rational? No. But she is a nut job.
#42. To: Destro (#41) (Edited) I saw that. It's a pretty pathetic grasping at straws. Here is my take: 1. Goldi was out of work at about the time the GOP was ramping up its internet presence. 2. Some GOP PAC or local party office bought the site for a couple of thousand dollars and left Goldi in place as the mod - she knew the people and the buyers, who were seeking to build a web presence, were not well acquainted with the posters or their culture. 3. Goldi let yukon run wild and the stats for the site dropped like a rock. And now even this site now blows them out of the water most weeks. This didn't make the buyers happy. 4. Yukon then outs himself and alienates the very rubes the buyers hoped to hoodwink into voting GOP. 5. Buyers huddle for a while and then fire Goldi as site mod. And as employers do whenever anyone is fired, they take over her company emails and ban her from the "property". There is probably also a clause in the contract that forbids Goldi from discussing the site or its inner workings in public. The owners then announce Goldi's passing to avoid involving the goobs in an endless debate over her removal. 6. In the meantime, yukon gets the crap beat out of him on at least three sites and he decides that he'd rather be back in the closet. 7.
