My four-year-old nephew, not knowing what he was doing, punched me in the left one, laughed, then whacked me in the right one.

I instinctively slapped me three times about the top of his head, mostly ruffling his hair.

He burst into tears and explained, "That wasn't fair! I hit you TWO times and you hit me THREE times!"

Kids are way too literal sometimes.
