OMG! It's simply amazing what is out there they call "food" anymore! I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that's being done in the US too... Makes you wonder about those "steaks" that come in packs of like a dozen that you get from Sams Club, or those guys that drive around in pickups with refrigerated campers on them selling meat.....

Yeah... But i'm not so sure that a lot of this shit been around that long. I figure this is one big experiment. We have no idea how long we can put aspartame, GMOs, hormoned beef, etc in before the bod starts shuttin down. I'd venture to guess that most 90 year olds were eating pretty clean food most of those 90 years.
On a different (but sort of related) topic - did you see where those "superbugs" that are so antibiotic resistant are starting to show up on pig farms? Now they're worried that flies will start carrying the superbugs....

And/or Organic Grass Fed Beef. Grain is not a natural food for cattle and while Kosher Beef is generally of better quality (assuming the Rabbi wasn't bought) proper feed i.e., grass and non-GMO alfalfa improves the balance between the Omega 3 (desirable) and Omega 6 (less desirable) fatty acids.
