She sez "for years" she believed ... How old is she? Doesn't look to be very old to me. However, the bookshelf behind her displays two books by Gore Vidal. After that observation, and a few more ridiculous statements that made her inexperience even more obvious, I shut it off.

Voting is evil unless you vote for Turtle!

They have given us into the hand of new unhappy lords. Lords without anger and honor, who dare not carry their swords. They fight by shuffling papers; they have bright dead alien eyes; They look at our labor and laughter as a tired man looks at flies. - G.K. Chesterton

How is voting evil?

It is not voting that is evil, it is representatives that once elected do not represent the people that voted for them. Most in this country are now against the wars but they still continue. Obviously no representation there. So we have extreme taxation with pretty much ZERO representation. This makes us slaves. The remedy for this is to have direct votes on issues and have the people of this nation directly decide what is passed as a law and what isn't. "Representatives" have proven to be a joke, it is time to do away with these clowns and their power.

God is always good!

And your argument is........?

Could you live in a society where there was no authority, no established order, or no ruling power? We have enough trouble living in a republic that is formed around democratic principles with rules, laws and requirements every where we turn.

I prefer not to live in such disorder as anarchy would present, and this lady is a self-proclaimed anarchist.

I'm ready to give anarchy a chance.

US sucks in our current incantation.

The more laws, the more disorder.

This present order is forced chaos.

Yes, I am ready for self governance, which includes the dismissal of those who would claim the right to order the rest of us around.

God gave us ten laws.

His Son added two.

In our wisdom we've added a bazillion.

US are truly pathetic.

I have to take exception with what both of you say. If you have lived close enough to Watts, the South Bronx or a like area where those who live there take orders from no one, have no respect for authority and could care less how their activity affects others person or property, then you should be able to envision what anarchy would bring.

Furthermore, a quick study of the history of the homosapien will prove why anarchy won't work. Human behavior itself prevents a rational behaving and successful society under anarchism.

You think there would be no "elitism" under anarchy? Think again. The meek and weak would become slaves of many kinds.

Solutions for Ireland. Say NO to the IMF/World bank. Default on our debt. Print our own debt free currency. Nationalise the trillion euros worth of gas and oil off our west coast. Take back our fishing (200 billion worth). Get our farmers growing again. Done deal if our politicians had the backbone. ~ Jim Corr
