my sister and i were slaves to our dad when teevees didn't have remote controls. he would watch teevee in the basement and call us down from upstairs to change the channel for him cuz he was too lazy to get off the sofa and do it himself. that used to infuriate us!

My father would make me stand by the TV and adjust the rabbit ears. He'd scream because everytime I let go of them the picture would get fuzzy because I was amplifying the antenna.
