NATO's 28 members are "sharing the same goal, which is to see the end of the Gadhafi regime in Libya," Clinton said. "We must also intensify our political, diplomatic and economic mission to pressure and isolate Gadhafi and bring about his departure."
Iraq war costs reportedly passed a trillion some time ago.
No Austerity measures to keep war profiteers in business.

The war is not suppose to be won. Its only purpose is to enrich defense contractors and the elite. A war that can be won is a war that will end, they can't have that happen.
All the attention is on the soldier with the lost limbs. No attention at all on the kids and innocent Iraqis being killed by these same soldiers. Who deserves it more? You know who does. God most certainly will not bless the troops or America in these invasions and genocide of innocents.

As for the Medical/Insurance Complex and others that profit from the business of war, they should be paying huge war taxes.
I'm going to amend that to say: they should be paying huge war taxes from the onset of war, for the duration, and for at least one generation thereafter to compensate for the damages their businesses thrive and grow on. No war (like other countries who manage to have first-rate Militaries unburdened by profiteering and colonialist adventurism), no huge war tax responsibility for businesses like Blackwater/Xe, Halliburton, KBR, the Carlyle Group, etc., etc., et al. to bear. That should be an incentive for them to strive for diplomatic solutions and to restructure their internal investments accordingly. Gen. Smedley Butler is most remembered for his assessment that "War is Racket" but he said much more than that. He called for constructive action, like taking the profit out of War.

I was watching FOX the other day, gal sitting in for O'Really. The R congressman she was interviewing said that funding the troops was the only reason he and other conservatives voted for the compromise and avoided a government shut down. So apparently it is all about the troops, the rest of us be damned.
I think he has "Imperialist Fever" and so do lots of others under the sway of bankers. The Euro pols have had it for ages. Russia and the Orient too. Perhaps American Isolationism and Constitutionally sound money not conjured through bankers could cure that problem here.
I think Rep. Jones is correct that the war has been won Militarily. Making Afghanistan into a Westernized colony isn't their job.

The troops are either funded now or they will be funded later after a lot of them get picked off by Israeli snipers in Iraq and Afghanistan. The US defense industry must be maintained so the elite have the essential tools to kill billions in WW3 and ensure their own survival and leadership after it is over.

God bless him and all who've done so. The states should all be sending many more Patriots like them to the Hill and recalling those who aren't.

On November 02 2010, more than four months prior to the onset of Operation Odyssey Dawn, France and the UK announced the conduct of war games under Operation "SOUTHERN MISTRAL 2011" against "AN IMAGINARY COUNTRY' called "SOUTHLAND", living under a "DICTATORSHIP" which allegedly "was responsible for an attack against France's national interests".
The Franco-British (humanitarian) air operation against "SOUTHLAND" was to be carried out pursuant to an IMAGINARY "UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO: 3003".
The war games were scheduled to start on March 21, 2011. THESE FRANCO-BRITISH WAR GAMES NEVER TOOK PLACE. OPERATION "SOUTHERN MISTRAL" WENT LIVE ON MARCH 19, 2011 (two days prior to the scheduled date).
That article is best viewed at the site. Much more info and graphics there.
Further complicating the Administrations failure to come to Congress prior to ordering an attack is the fact that our primary partners in the war against Libya, France and Great Britain, had, according to a French military website, planned certain war games which now may have significance.
On November 2, 2010 France and Great Britain signed a mutual defense treaty, which paved the way for joint participation in a military exercise called Southern Mistral (www.southern-mistral.cdaoa.fr). While war games are not uncommon, the similarities between Southern Mistral and Operation Odyssey Dawn highlight just how many unanswered questions remain regarding our own military planning for Libya.
The Southern Mistral war games called for Great Britain-French air strikes against an unnamed dictator of a fictional country, Southland. The pretend attack was authorized by a pretend United Nations Security Council Resolution. The Southern Mistral war games were set for March 21-25, 2011.
On March 19, 2011, the United States joined France and Great Britain in an air attack against Muammar Gaddafis Libya pursuant to UN Security Council Resolution 1973.
Scheduling a joint military exercise that ends up resembling real military action could be seen as remarkable planning by the French and British, but it also highlights questions regarding the United States role in planning for the war. We dont know how long the attack on Libya has been in preparation, but Congress must find out. We dont know who the rebels really represent and how they became armed, but Congress must find out.
Mistral is defined as a strong north wind that blows in France during the winter. "Southern North Wind of France" is roughly what the War Game title translates as.
America's Military is not the property of any branch of government in D.C. Our Military works for We the People of the Constitution. The Executive branch and most of Congress apparently don't want to work for us. They'd rather work for their own interests and the like in the more lucrative NWO sphere so they should be recalled from their offices. All U.S. troops out of this Libyan stagecraft and all of the other Unconstitutional Wars for Empire now.
