Since there is NO backing for the $, DOLLAR, ie GOLD or Silver, just print more FRNs and pay Rothschild off.
1) FRNs are not printed out of nothing. They represent Treasury bonds that will eventually mature and be paid with interest (the interest is donated back to the Treasury). Printing FRNs without such backing will seriously damage the monetary system.
2) The federal debt is not owed to "Rothschild". The Rothschild investment bankers are interested in things that pay off better than T-bills. As far as I can tell, the Rothschild banks never lent money to the US govt.

True. And neither is a "note" for a thing the thing itself even when it meets the legal definition of "note" (which the FRN does not). As I have told people before, if a note for a thing was actually the thing itself then you could eat banana notes and drive Cadillac notes.
