Fleischer's recently been ordained a rabbi? May make the jury more sympathetic to him if he's indicted.

Is this article for real? President Bush was really photographed like this and it appeared on a jewish web site?

as I understand it the talmud was written after jesus was here. and some of it I think is a reaction against jesus. and from what I have heard it runs contrary to the first 5 books of old testament.

I think the torah is the first 5 books of bible and this is what unites the jews & christians. but the talmud is what divides.

maybe i'm wrong.

I understand they aren't too keen on Goyim studying the Talmud (a volume of which Bush appears to be holding in photo #1), I guess they rightly aren't very concerned about W actually reading it. Maybe they have a version with pictures.

That's putting it mildly, from what I've read. You should read what that first Protestant, Martin Luther had to say about the Talmud.

Also, read what the Talmud has to say about Mary (the mother of Christ), Christians in general and the "legal" inequality in how they should be treated.

"The Cartoon Guide to the Talmud" would be worth reading.

"Cartoon History of the Universe"

My favorite series. The sections on China are probably the most difficult to follow, but that just due to the nature of that particular culture.

Yeah, if there was such a thing as "The Cartoon Guide to the Talmud" I would imagine it to be like "Cartoon History of the Universe"

That is about how I understand it.

Of course any knowledge I have on the subject comes from reading Uris and Wouk; and reading those two is just about like taking a course in Hebrewism.
