How's Glowbull Warming working in your area?

Around here it was snowing a couple of nights ago. Down right nippy today, although the sun is shining. It's been a long time since I've seen the amount of snow on the mountain peaks that we have right now. Looks like planting the garden will need to be pushed out several weeks as well.

Usually, by the end of April, I'm getting ready to climb a few mountains. Looks like the climbing will have to wait unless I want to bring along my snow boots and parka.

Come to Florida dear. We dont have mountains (actually we do, but it's such a gentle slope no one knows it), but we currently have dry upper 70's to 90 temps, oil free beaches, forest hiking trails, and a naked Armadillo running around.
Bring sunscreen. I got a full-body sunburn. Ouch.

The weather sounds lovely, but you don't have mountains Sweetie. You have hills and the highest one in FL is a whopping 344 feet above sea level. lol

I was planning on climbing Mt. Rose again, which is 10,776 feet at the summit and Mt. Lassen, which is 10,462 at the top, and Freel Peak at 10,886. Towards the end of the summer, I want to take on one of the 14K foot summits in CA on a multiple day trip.

That full body sunburn sounds painful. Poor Dillo!! Hope you have some Aloe Vera and a Vera to slather it on. : )

Well, they have "mountian" in their names. :)
Iron Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain.
And Im loaded up on 100% Aloe Vera gel. That stuff is wonderful. I need a bathtub full to soak in.
A "Vera" would be nice, or even a "Donna". I'm not picky. ;).

You must be in good shape to be climbing some real mountains. Climbing 10776 feet would kill me. I'm sure the climbing is fun. Too bad about the Gore-Effect snow eveywhere.

Climbing gets me in better shape. A tad soft after finishing up all my research projects and such.

Sea level to 10K would require a bit of acclimation. : ) Mount Rose is a few hours to go up and down, there's a trail head at about 5 miles from the summit, leaving about 2000 feet in elevation to climb up. Here's a picture from Slide Mountain on one trail~

And from the summit you can see Lake Tahoe:
