Osama bin Laden, the face of global terrorism and architect of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, was killed in a firefight with elite American forces Monday, then quickly buried at sea in a stunning finale to a furtive decade on the run.

Beyond unbelieveable - did the "birther" issue get Bin Ladin ? Is the White House afraid their forgery has "Bin Discovered" ?

This reminds me of the nice quick conclusion of the anthrax case. Nice neat clean wrapped bow.

Ok, nothing to see here, move on.

Faith-based goobermunt. One would think that they'd be takin' ol' Usama bin Daid on a 57 state tour to show how efficient our Dear Leaders are, but no, poof! Nothing.

What are you, a conspiracy theororist?

I'm sure O'boingo will be releasing binny's death certificate any day now as proof that he's telling the truth.

I wonder what color crayons they'll use? Maybe they'll break out the big 64-color box.

That'll be exciting. And oh, so pretty.

Buried at sea, my ass.

Just thumbnail looking at the map, it looks like 800 miles to the sea.

"One woman was killed in the raid, being used as a human shield."

They're spreading the horseshit thick this morning.

From a thread at ZeroHedge:

[WB7: Did you know that the death of Adolf Hitler (an event already drawing historic comparisons) was announced on May 1, 1945? Inexplicably, Bin Laden's body has apparently already been buried at sea, thus leaving ample room for future generations of conspiracy theorists. Another similarity to the demise of Adolf Hitler. Why is that necessary?]

Egads! They're outcynicing 4um. The Nerrrrrrrve!

Official: Bin Laden buried at sea

WASHINGTON (AP) — A U.S. official says Osama bin Laden has been buried at sea. After bin Laden was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in Pakistan, senior administration officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours, the official said. Finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult, the official said. So the U.S. decided to bury him at sea.

The official, who spoke Monday on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive national security matters, did not immediately say where that occurred.

According to fox's Steve Douchie, US govt. offered bin laden's remains to Saudi Arabia, but they politely declined.
